I have taken the liberty of grabbing this quote from a brother in Norway because I found it to be a truth bomb that blasted away all the claptrap that has accumulated around the subject of eschatology. Here it is, without further comment from me.
Mark Sam said:
And when one realises that eschatology is all about Christ (which is our salvation), things like "who is the Antichrist?", "what about the nation of Israel?" and "when will He return?" isn't as important anymore. What becomes important is this: to worship Him, preach His Word, help our fellow Christians in joy and in tribulation, and to partake in His Body and Blood (in the Eucharist), until He comes.
Amen!
