I wasn't refering to you Crib, you've been here longer than I and I know your status in the church. I was talking about the other faiths that seem curiously interested in what we are discussing here for some reason. And then to try and show us we're wrong... I don't think they do that in the JW room or the Mormon room.

Among the folks who cause you concern, have you ever asked why they're interested in the discussion here? That might lead to an interesting discussion. My guess is that most aren't interested in trying to show you that you're wrong.

To my knowledge (at least among those who have been posting here for several years), everyone who posts here has some affiliation with the SDA denomination. This affiliation is what motivates their desire for fellowship.

Your response was a tag from only my comments of RT101 post of which I said too. This is what He said;

This wisdom comes froms Roman 14, and not isolated texts from all over so I'm in agreement with it.

You redirected the dialog by asking him about EGW failed prophesies.
How is that dialog going?

Ok Crib, it's all about you...

My dialogue with RT would go better if he would provide something to back up his accusations.

Did you know that founder of the Presbyterian church is an unrepented murderer? Did you know the largest denomination in the world killed more innocent people than all the wars? There are no perfect churches only a perfect Savior but some churches have more truth than others.

Well to be sure I don't offend the SDA lets look at Joseph Smith, do you believe he was a true prophet of God or not

We are told we are inheritors of the promise to Abraham, which he recieved by faith, not works of the law.

So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? 6

6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”

13 It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

Find me one place where the Bible says we are inheritors of the law.

There is so much wrong with this I don't know where to begin. Shall I start by saying an exclusive sign between God and Israel would preclude it being important to the rest of the world? Moral laws are universal, not given as a unique sign or covenant, as the Sabbath is called.

The rainbow was not given as a sign to Israel, as you must know.

I could easily go on but what's the use. Even though the Bible says the laws given at Sinai were not given to their fathers, they were added 430 years after Abraham, and so on and so on, you will choose to believe Mrs, White's view instead. The first recorded weekly Sabbath keeping was after the Exodus, and the BIble plainly says it was given as a sign and covenant between God and Israel. Mrs. White says Adam and Eve kept the Sabbath. That is plainly adding to the Bible.

The seventh day was blessed, sanctified and called holy before it was used as a sign of a covenant. God protected the sabbath by putting in the law. The law says nothing about it being a sign of a covenant. The sabbath used as a sign of a covenant is found outside of the 10 commandments.

Exactly Ricker, if God gave it as a sign between himself and the Children of Israel it's not likely that God changed His mind from it being a creation ordinance that the world was suppose to know about.

I also agree that moral law are intrinsic in human nature.

When the rainbow was given to Noah's and his children as a covenant sign, we find that God commanded them against killing other men. The does not appear in form as connected to the other 9 commandments. Gen 9:6Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

The dialog in Gen 9 presents to us what God commanded to Noah's generation after the flood.

Here is a commandment on what to eat. Guess who will argue that God mean only clean animals. That's not what the scriptures say..
Gen 9:3Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
