CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know He is a God Who is a feeling God ...
But, aside from one particular time, about 17 years ago, I have never felt His passion for me.
It seems a huge loss to me, that the churches that I have attended, have very much downplayed the issue of feelings in the believer's life. I know that is part of our culture. I remember it was always kind-of pounded into me the train thing "Fact, faith feeling".
But as I began learning a little about the Jewish people, I discovered they are quite open with their feelings, are they not? I watch Marty Goetz, whenever he comes to our church and performs and leads us in worship that he gets totally lost in God and is not shy at all about expressing his feelings before God and before us....and I love it!

oh my dear...my heart goes out to you. I dont know what your going through, but i love you just the same. And whatever it is that you may be burdened with, just know that Jesus was enough and you are free through him. You may be feeling burdened down by things, but my dear that is where WE keep ourselves...the price Jesus paid was forever enough to keep you free and bind you to the Father, despite what the enemy tells you. Remember that footprints poem about not knowing He is with us...but all along he has been carrying us? Well he is carrying you in his loving embrace, 
and heres one from me! Cherished if you ever feeling like sharing what is going on, i have 2 great listening ears (technically they would be my eyes...but you know what i mean 
) and will not judge you at all. God is the great comforter, and he also helps to put others in our path to be there as well. Much love to you!

I will be alright. I need to go through deep waters sometimes so that I might better be able to minister to others....I always appreciate prayers, though....
I believe it part of the fellowship of Christ's sufferings...

i did! And i've been reading it at home after the my daughter goes to bed! I absolutely love it! This saturday i'm going to get a chance to sit down and read for a while. Cant wait!

, i'm very grateful to God for blessing me with a tender-heart and much compassion for others. I really do love others now...its amazing how Gods love and peace transform the mind and heart! I am understanding now that life is about relationships, with God, and with others. And oh my...i LOVE my new book! Its shedding so much light on things, and i truly am feeling connected to Gods heart. It brings me to tears how passionate he is, and i can feel him moving closer to me. I'm singing and dancing all day, He is so great! I remember reading where Paul says that we are not to stay as infants in the Lord, but to mature through Christ. I wanted that but didnt really grasp its meaning truly...but in the same way that my daughter is growing and maturing i can see how much she still needs to know, and how she is soaking up knowledge, and it reminds me of myself. I still have an eternity of knowledge and wisdom and insight to learn from God, and i'm already so full of life and energy now, and i've barely begun! Thats what it means when the heart is bursting with joy...i think God needs to give me a bigger one! And joy is contagious! So i dont mind infecting people with it! And you know, something really neat happened while i was praying at night for my friends and everything, i heard/felt God ask me what i want?! I really wasnt prepared for that and couldnt really think of anything...but i did ask for a house eventually...and so i'm really looking forward to see how God directs our path now! In his timing of course, but i can be patient, as long as he continues to provide for us each month...i'm totally trusting in him, and wouldnt you know that he keeps his promises!!!! Praise God!! Just wanted to share that with ya!

Its funny that you say that, becuz i heard a very similar thing from God! So ok, ok, i will do that as well, just getting a little excited. But what i was thinking i could do, is read the overview he gives on each book, and then read that book in the Bible and see how God speaks to me through a new understanding! But really thats quite hilarious to me that you said that.

I know where you're coming from and thats sad to say...but when you truly come to know Gods heart, he fills it with the knowledge and understanding of love that surpasses all others. He replaces the hurt and Jesus sews together old and fresh wounds when you ask and truly give it to him. You receive the understanding of life and shine for him. Spreading love everywhere you go, because life is about relationships. Faith, hope, and love...without accepting those things you can never really experience the LORD, because He is that.

Thats exactly right! I've been busy! I finished the chapter about Genesis, and today i just finished the book of Genesis! Its amazing! Now i'm excited to start reading about Exodus.
And the great thing about Yahweh, is that both (simplistic and complex) characteristics reside in him. He tells us to come to him as a child would, which is only simplistic, and the things he commands of us are essentially simple. But in coming to know him we can learn the commplex side of things which is where wisdom is incorporated! We are not to stay as little children in God, but to mature. However, we are not to lose sight of our simple ways, it is to bring them all together, and praise God for being so good! YAY!!!!s to you guys!
