Psychological make up comes in all shapes and sizes.

The most common behavior you see on this board is without question, cognitive dissonance and all the subset behaviors of the same; confirmation bias, denial, projecting, etc. etc.

I saw it as a kid, not as some kid desperatly looking for God!!! I believed there was a God never doubting it. Why? I don't know because I sure as heck have done some pretty stupid things and had a rough childhood.

Maybe I just knew that someone was taking care of me because my own parents didn't?

How about the fact that we can send sonar signals down to the earth' score, so we actually know what is there. At the earth's core is a massive ball of metal, mostly stuff such as iron and nickel. If there was an actual hell down there, we would know.

I was looking for god, and no matter where I looked, I found nothing.

To be sincere, I am more desperate to go to the states than to find evidence for God. Because I already know He exists and loves me.
