Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified. Corinthians 9:24-27.

I hope to be like this as a life coach. It is very inspiring. Also Corinthians 9:19-23.

Anyone relate?

Oh yeah. As an avid runner I've always related to it. Running day after day, I'll sometimes get pains, or weariness, or boredom...things we can also sometimes get in our spiritual lives. But we must keep pressing on with purpose. And the bad days don't last forever.

I wonder how the OSAS folks read this verse though.
