Hello, I'm a newbie to all of the forums. Most of the posts look pretty old so I hope it is still an active forum. I'm a writer, just lost my job so I'll be working on a novel while looking for another job opportunity. I live alone and it gets very lonely for a social butterfly like me. My only daily contact is with my two cats, and my daughter who calls every day and visits. God bless us every one.

I'm thinking this is the newbies sticky dave told me about so I'm going to introduce myself here. I am seeking fellowship with like minded people. I'll be spending time in a few other forums: evangelism/ asia/ depression and maybe theology. I have an interest in street open air preaching, china and north korea outreach and prayer, bibles outreach, and some theology topics. I was born april 1st, 1956 and I can't help it. I do suffer from depression but the Lord helps me each day. I'm looking forward to getting to know many of you. I don't know how to do all that html so I just write long winded statements instead

I am a newbie, sort of ; I joined this forum a few years back, and then the Holy Spirit and I went on a wild ride for a few years, so I didn't have access to the internet so now the Lord is bringing me out of that, and so, I am able to pick it up again! It's amazing how God makes the stuff in our lives that the world sees as failures, and devastating situations that ruin peoples' minds and health; but for the Believer, these life-changing experiences are mere steps on the stairs to Glory! and, we always come out of them, stronger, and more alive in the Lord! Praising the Lord!

Hi all you wonderful Senior People for Jesus! I just joined on a most fitting day; the 4th of July, the day my great country, the US of A joined together to become a great Nation under God! I just posted to the official "newbie" forum, but I had to come here and touch base with all of you. I am so grateful that the Lord has provided a place for me to meet and fellowship with my generation of Believers from all over the world! We are a special generation of people.. We got to live and witness first hand the transition into the very End Times that the Word of God tells us about, and we are living it! WOW. Imagine that God loves us so much, and believes in us so much, to have created us for such a time! So, how can we not believe in Him to do what He promised to do for us, and always be there, and protect and provide forever!

I just recently had major surgery July 26th actually and in the healing process. God has blessed me so much, the dr said things went better than he even though they would, I have pretty much been one day ahead on everything. I give all the Glory to God. The problem is plain and simple , I am lonely .I thought I had made some good friends in church ( been in this area over two years) but when you are down you find out who your friends are real quick, not one phone call. I am really hurt by this and have been in deep prayer about it. So I joined for Christian friendship! God Bless you and look forward to getting to know you all! Libby
