Hi I am a newbie looking for advice on how to feel that God has not forgotten about me. I am 52 and alone. I am disabled in as much as my walking is limited and I do not have a vehicle so I am pretty much stuck at home. I feel that God has forgotten me because I have a loveless life and to me that is like a living death. I have nobody to talk to about this, that is why I am here.

First, welcome to the Golden Eagles. We are a nice group of people and have a lot of fun together. Many of us also have various kinds of disabilities. I hope you will enjoy the fellowship here. Here, we talk about our kids, grandkids, pets, daily activities, and just about anything we want to.

You are never alone as a Christian - God is with you every step of the way in this short life. God has promised that He will never leave or forsake you. We're happy to have you with us.

The FAQ at the top-right on your page should answer most of your questions. IF there is something specific you're having trouble with, maybe one of us could answer your question. Generally, most folks get more comfortable as they use the forum.

Hi maggijeanne I pray that God really blesses you, and hope that you find friendship and fellowship here.

God has not forgotten you, but I know what it feels like to be in a "living death". I felt it for many years, due to personal circumstances. In my case God led me to work through various issues, but that may not be the same solution for everyone - our life circumstances are different. However I believe there is always hope with God. Have you asked God for specific scriptures for your circumstances?

I should add that during my difficult time CF (and especially GE) was a lifeline from God.

I'm thinking this is the newbies sticky dave told me about so I'm going to introduce myself here. I am seeking fellowship with like minded people. I'll be spending time in a few other forums: evangelism/ asia/ depression and maybe theology. I have an interest in street open air preaching, china and north korea outreach and prayer, bibles outreach, and some theology topics. I was born april 1st, 1956 and I can't help it. I do suffer from depression but the Lord helps me each day. I'm looking forward to getting to know many of you. I don't know how to do all that html so I just write long winded statements instead
