A Newbie Thread

Thank you guys for your lovely welcome I am 56 yrs young.
So I am qualified although still a lot of wising up to do. lol.

In a lot of ways I realise that life is just beginning,
a whole bunch of things to do and learn,
just when I think i've wised up about life
and got it all sorted in my head, I get smacked in the face.

LOL ... that is a pretty good analogy
You could, get 'quite a tan' ~by 'turning the other-cheek' quite so often



Life, is, one step at a time AND_ 'one moment' at a time
We just need more practice... to get, with the getting
AND, to go, with the going

Thank you Gail, I have never smoked, don't drink, and don't like sunbathing just get sun naturally, all helps.

Yes Dave i definately need more practice, 'turn the other cheek' lol, you are full of wisdom dave, I tell you my hubby despairs of me sometimes.

Thank you for your welcome amadeus and kaykay, I look forward to fellowshipping with you all, I have been on the boards for a while but have not posted on golden eagles, I was quite focused with just praying for people and introducing them to the board but started getting very poorly and have been struggling and was going downhill, I found out that I have underactive thyroid and anemea, also high blood pressure, am now getting treatment and really on the mend now.

Hi I am a newbie looking for advice on how to feel that God has not forgotten about me. I am 52 and alone. I am disabled in as much as my walking is limited and I do not have a vehicle so I am pretty much stuck at home. I feel that God has forgotten me because I have a loveless life and to me that is like a living death. I have nobody to talk to about this, that is why I am here.
