A Newbie Thread

Hi
I have been looking at this site for a couple weeks not knowing exactly what to do or how to do it
I thought it was a "horse" site but I don't see much about horses I realize that's not the "only" topic but I was looking for some support on my renewed venture!!
I've gone to all the "help" places and even asked for help but I don't understand...I'm not even sure if I'm on the right place for thisI am truly sorry for being so ignorant but well ...I am!!
I don't understand blessings or the avatars or what you do to get them I can't private message cause I don't have enough posts I'm hoping this one counts
I'd appreciate any help anyone would give

Hi thank you so much and well the horse thing when I was looking for a "site" I put in Christian Horse groups well atleast I thought I did....I have 3 and was just looking for someone to share about them with And yes I am 54 married my Husband and I have a blended family of 4 children 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
thank you so much for answering my questions It is a bit overwhelming to me but I am encouraged I found the same place twice, was able to get your message and your blessings ( thank you) and I guess I will just keep plugging at it

If you have PICTURES of, your-horses
you can have them HOSTED for-FREE on a site like

www.photobucket.com

which will provide you with an internet addresss
for the pictures
which you will eventually be-able
to show as a part of your message 'here'

If you are in a hurry to show them
make a copy of the pictures -
place them on your desktop -
goto to your email box -
address an email to-me dave_dajobauk@hotmail.co.uk
click ATTACH FILES or PHOTOS click 'photos'
repeat until you have attached all your pictures
then
click on 'SEND'

and you will see your horses onscreen ALREADY

otherwise we will all have to wait
until you clock up your post total

I so well remember the confusing first few weeks on Christian Forums.( that is what we used to be called ). It takes a few posts before some of the features activate like Private messages and stuff. Just keep posting and eventurally you will get the hang of it. On the main page there is a place toask questions of the moderators as well. However, dave is a very good tutor. I just want to say "thank you again"
for all the help I have been given. I now have a "person"with clothes and everything That took me sometime of course my grandson helping me well...let's just say wasn't a big help
but it was fun of course I'm going to have to wait a bit to get fancy....but like my title says I am gaining

thanks for the poem As a matter of fact when I went looking for a "site" it was cause I was lonely
It's wierd I have all four children living within steps of my house most of my 11 grandchildren as well... a full time job a newly refound wonderful church, three horses yada yada yada but I was lonely this site was a blessing

Hello all you wonderful people ! I,recently,came across this site and joined to see if you are spending your time wisely and are having fun doing it. Now that I know you are I'll tell you a bit about myself.
I'm a 66 y/o guy living in Napa,Ca.(wine country) with my wife of 2 yrs. She's 4yrs. younger and from the Philipinnes. We were both raised Catholic and have studied many other religions with Him,always, by our side. We,both,see something amiss in the world of organized religions and,now,choose to stay clear of them. We have seen too many unbelievable things happen in the ones we have been associated with,so now it's just us and some close,dear friends.
We love our friend and Saviour,Jesus Christ who is,still,shining His light for us to SEE. We're looking forward to sharing some of that Light with all of you.
As the commercial says,"We'll keep the light on for ya" ! His Love,be with you !
