Some how the Golden years seem to have lost some of its luster, nonetheless i'm glad to have made it this far. Grand kids are as much fun a i figgered, but untimely poor health sucks.
This is a great time for Christians to stand up and be counted, make a difference. May the Lord bless those of His that have made it this far.

Sorry to hear that poor health is marring your senior years. I hope that improves for you. Rest assured though you are not alone in that regard. At least you have grand babies to enjoy I still have most of my kids living at home. Jan

Today, I heard from 'The Manchester Royal'
aka The Hope Hospital, that, I have been offered
an appointment, on 18th September
[I accepted]
It's just, two days before my 60th birthday

That is very much quicker than I expected
having been informed [previously]
that there was a 20 week 'waiting-list'

"soonest-done, soonest-mended"

I am going-for Local Anaesthetics,
because
The Quicker, I can jump out of bed,
The Quicker, I can get off home again
The 'alternatives'
are Lumbar/ General
and both are potentially: 'OVERNIGHTERS'

I am not happy regarding thoughts of, STAYING-IN

I WILL get through this

I have no LOVE of hospitals
and brace myself even as an outpatient

I have in-past, been so grateful for them
as they delivered all but one of my children
and, gave my youngest daughter back to me
when, the (then) love of her life 'dumped-her'
after, restarting her heart several times
