A new CF, an old vision (4)

I left CF for preaching the truth. They called it flaming.

Being a Christian requires great care and a true knowledge of the Bible to distinguish a spiritual burden from doctrines irritation. We cannot close our minds to everything that is happening around us because if we do that, others are grieved by burdensome legalism. In our Christian fellowship (not individual), we must recognize that the Holy Spirit desires to take us and control us, and use us as instruments through which He can express Himself in the Christian community.

Can we trust the Holy Spirit to convict us see false teachings, to reveal Christ, to open our minds to understand spiritual truth?

What part of that are you calling legalism?

I know your posts and that you don't flame. That's why I'm pretty shocked at your live and let live attitude now.

Do you understand that apostacy will prevail if we do nothing?

I got warned by moderators for preaching the truth which they interpreted as flaming. Legalism go against truth as well as lies. Legalism prevents the Holy Spirit to work.

If I am prevented to preach the truth, I would not come back.

I feel like in my eyes, the old CF made me turn away from Christianity and go pseudo-agnostic for a while. It wasn't just CF, it was basically any sort of Christians that told me I wasn't good enough to be a Christian, that I was a heathen, that I heard to "earn" my way to heaven when the Bible clearly says nobody has to "earn" their way. They only have to ask for it.

So this new CF to me could bring more people to Christ than turn away... it just won't bring about the type of Christian some people WANT.

I don't see it that way at all. Yes it is his site but he is opening the door to more dialog really. It isn't going to be you can't speak your mind and the others do.

People are over reacting here. It is now a forum where the truth will be out in the open and there won't be a disconnection between the various sects. It is the only way to reunite the people of this forum.

Think of it this way, the left hand is letting the right hand know what it is doing. Always a good thing
