Agree but CF is a tool where MUCH person to person discipleship *personal and Spiritual* happens... Do you deny that???

I disciiple people online everyday and I am thankful for God to use me. At the same time, I always transfer my discipleship to where it belongs in a local Church.

I have discipled many people here in CF but I am not the person to disciple them for 3 years.

Basically, you are closing the door on them and closing out God's opportunity to reach out to them.
Nope, I'm not. Did you read my post? There are plenty of places on this forum to reach out.

Many people forget and often try to do their own ways circumstances happens that they never stop and think. Their human minds often see doors closing when ignoring another door opening.
This coming from the one running away just the other day...ironic.

This is the concept of Romans 8:28-29 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

Yes, and maybe God is using this new "vision" to lead HIS people away from "Christian Forums"
Ephesians 4:17So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.
ACTS 13:51So they shook the dust from their feet in protest against them

Its the legalists that loves to close the door while Christ opens the door.
Ephesians 4: 27and do not give the devil a foothold.

This is not an open door from Christ, this is giving the devil a foothold.

The way I see it, you are implying as you I can see you think Erwin is implying.
huh?
What's the difference between EXPRESSING a different point of view, and PROMOTING a different point of view? Is it in the tone? The repetition? What exactly?
Got a dictionary?
You know what promotion is and you know why you are here bear. It's not to "Unite Christians"

The best way Erwin could accommodate you, would be to make this an exclusively Christian website.
Says you. I said nothing of the sort. You would be wise to keep your unfounded assumptions to your self.

Oh, but I must remember.
Romans 1:21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools

Here we go again with talk of 'agendas', and attempts at mind reading. How dramatic and over the top can we get?
30 year Christian that has converted to an athiest attempting to promote his views on a Christian website???
thebear said:
If your concern is new Christians being lied to, misinformed, exposed to foreign ideas, or whatever, then they should stay away from the internet altogether.
"CHRISTIAN FORUM" and so the responsibilty lies with Erwin who will be misleading many to a site that is not "Christian"

Thankyou!
Exactly.

That is so totally two threads ago.

But, if that is your guiding principle, what have you been doing here at CF for the last three years? This site has always allowed non-Christians to be members. Now, when it looks like your ability to beat up on them may be impaired in just the tiniest way, you start complaining.

Ask yourself--is it whether or not you will be unequally yoked that upsets you or that your whip hand may be stayed for a moment that upsets you?

True enough Jim. I pray you'll be standing at the door of CF to help them.

That's one of my main intent. I serve God by witnessing and discipling and allow the Holy Spirit do the work.

That wasn't the point I was making...

The issue is that the environment here at CF was specifically stated to be Christian... thus a relatively safe place for seekers and newbies to participate here...

That may well be undone as I read the *new* matrix... that disturbs me... and apparenly others as well...

While we're using the Bible, I'd like to say I see these threads much like how Jesus ticked off the religious Pharisees in the Bible.... they sure did grumble.... so do people here. Shall I give references?

We live in a sinful world everyday and Christians are always "protecting" themselves from unbelievers and cults. I for one like to see the doors open so I can make them disciples (even though they are trying to "convert" me). When we go out witnessing the world in Christ's commandment of the "Great Commission", we are to love. In 1 Corinthians 13:5 says "Love does not act unbecomingly". Through the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life and light and love. Act like Jesus, toward sinners and brethren in compassion, toward saints in warm affection, toward others in love. For those who are WITH Christ in our hearts, the Ten Commandments are about LOVE. Christians do not look at the Ten Commandments as laws but Grace of Love. We are to LOVE God first (first 4 commandments) and we are to love one another (last 6 commandments). The first and greatest commandment is to love God with every power of our entire CHRISTIAN being. Where love like that exists, there can be no place for a second object. The Great Commission and Love are the two most important ministry of God's will.
