That doesn't stop those who are faking Christianity from proselytizing.Correct. I am not saying that I accept them as Christians personally - this website is accepting a member's right to use the icon if they wish to self-identify with it.

No deceitfulness isn't good. But it is only a specific kind of deceitfulness that has you so up in arms today. As with any system of justice, people can work the angles of Erwin's new rules. They could do so in the past as well. I've seen people cry here because someone who'se credentials were better than theirs took their Christian icon away, because someone took it upon themselves to sit in judgement of their faith. It was a deceitful move and it hurt someone I care about. But this didn't happen just once.Like MiracleStorm's concern , iow christian's will stayb/c their concerned for the unsuspecting, but decietfulness isn't good, no matter what
It opened up today Lindon. There are no examples to give except one running around with a Christian icon claiming there is no God.Recent examples?
We have seen the Theological debates as Mods and have seen many Christians acting like non-Christians, always trying to judge other denominations, flaming and so forth. I am guilty of this, did this before trying to knock another Christian down..That doesn't stop those who are faking Christianity from proselytizing.
Because we are angry you find nothing Christian in what we say.I can find nothing Christian in the posts by some members here who display the Christian icon. Perhaps what faith you say you are makes little difference anyway?
Because if they say they are Chrsitian than we are to accept it....
Matthew 21:12Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13"It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,'[e] but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'[f]"For recent examples I would look at Miracle_Storms or 88Devin07's posts. Then ask, WWJD?

proselytizing can go on in a pm, in a post, or wherever they feel free to do it. Because if they say they are Chrsitian than we are to accept it....
Sorry, I'm not one to sit on my hands much and let people insult my Lord and lead His sheep the wrong direction.
It angers me.
The Eastern Orthdox may not like That! There is no Christian-only section anymore. I'm considering an Orthodox Church and Unorthodox Church section.
I never "proclaimed" it happened yet Lin.So, despite no evidence of this occuring, you still proclaim that it's going on all around us?
No, you haven't claimed to be perfect, that is true. What you have claimed is the authoruty to determine who is and who is not a Christian. You could content yourself with the right to examine whether their words and deeds were consistent with Christianity as you see it. But you want, no, you demand, more than that. You demand the authority to decide who may and who may not claim the title.Because we are angry you find nothing Christian in what we say.
Let's see Jesus became angry. I think we have every right to human emotions as you or anyone else.
Besides I didn't say I was perfect, I am His.
Cleansed by the blood of Christ, saved by grace not law.
If you are looking for perfection look to Him not me, because I am imperfect and will let you down. He will not. But I will do everything in my power to protect His sheep.
If the only way I can do that is to forsake CF and plead with others to do the same I will.

It's been one day. Watch....
Yes the humanity of Jesus is as apparent as his divinity. But when non-believers or those who are "weak in faith" arrive at the site and are met with exclusion and elitism, how can this be a good witness? This would do nothing but turn people away. Yes Jesus had flashes of anger, but as Christians aren't people called to be better than that? To show love, patience and compassion? Would this not be a far better way to bring people to Christ?Matthew 21:12Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. I am not judging the hearts of other members, but concerned for members that will be lead the wrong way by trouble makers whom only claim to be christian...brimshack said:Do you really think you, or the mods on this forum are entitled to that authority? Do you think it will be used wisely? Has it in the past? Or might it be just a little more appropriate to content yourself with weighing in on the issues rather than the hearts of other forum members.
