What's in a name? Letters...

Erwin , correct me if I am wrong but doesnt this pretty much show you have a new vision too? Your new one doesnt match the old one. What happened? Does God change now?
Does this mean CF is no longer considered a ministry? If the world cannot see the difference between the light and the darkness - how does anyone get led? Everyone falls into a pit then.
Hmmmmm...to be honest, I would be rather keen to see Erwin's response to this. In some ways it almost reads like "pollie speak", when a political leader makes a reassured promise, only to change his or her mind in the future.
Having browsed a bit through what's been said, it almost seems clear in my mind that this forum's days may be numbered. There's too much of a mix of "yay, this is good" and "no it's not" to have anybody's confidence reasonably secure.
Ideally, to live up to its claim as a Christian forum, it should be a theocracy, where the ordinances are structured in alliance with the infallible truth of the Scriptures. CF has never been a theocracy, nor can it ever be a theocracy while there are people in membership whose motives are not aligned with Scripture in terms of acceding to positions of authority and power. Sure, this happens not only here, but in other organisations around the world, but should we not be trying as best we can to make an effort to mirror heaven on earth?
Erwin, as an elder I'm sure that you know the mountainous responsibility that is on your shoulders, not only as a webmaster, but a leader of God's people on this site. Paul made it abundantly clear in his Epistles that men and women like you are commanded to promote the truth and not to lead the people astray. You need to do whatever is in your power to fulfil your calling as a leader, and to avoid that perilous and dangerous judgement that befalls those who do not heed His call.
Now this isn't me saying you're guilty of anything, but it's an exhortation from a brother in Christ to be very, very careful. Satan will attack you from all areas, and your mission will be to have your eyes fixed solely on the goal of final glory with Christ. Now, if that means that CF has to become a distant memory, then you need to have the boldness and courage to make that decision regardless of what others say. It's between you and God in the long run, since only He can perfectly and justly judge. He knows whether this decision is truly based on His prompting you through His Holy Spirit, or mere changing just to please or appease. I don't know, but He does.
