Actually the pharisees reacted quite the same way when Jesus sat and ate with tax collectors and sinners.

First of all there were places to already speak with unbelievers. Now we are to be joined in all areas of a "Christian Forum" "Uniting All Christians As One Body"
The name and the slogan couldn't be farther from the truth now.
Let's look to the word of God shall we?
2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[b]? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

Psalm 14: 1 The fool [a] says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
Psalm 53:1 The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;

How can a fool moderate a "Christian Forum"?

No, technically, it is a board owned by a Christian who has has opened it to all religions and whose membership is predominately Christian. That is not the same thing.

I don't think it is predominately Christian. I'd like to see the stats.
Problem being anyone can call theirself a Christian now...Even if they believe Christ was just a man...

And those preaching gay marriage and advocating abortion and putting truth to the vote are the great bringers of light .

As I've said, I think Erwin has purposely sown the seeds of destruction with this~he's tired of this place.

Don't walk away totally. I will say this, you were the best Moderator that I dealt with on CF. Even though I'm SDA and you are Catholic, you didn't let our doctrinal differences bias your judgement. That is maturity.

I enjoyed sharing faith with you. You have always been a blessing. I hope to see you more on the boards since I will have more time to explore the board... not sure how long I will remain here on CF though.

I am neither happy or unhappy about the changes.

I just feel that we need to stop and pray, and figure out what the Holy Spirit is leading us to do.

That makes sense. I've been praying about this for a few days and will continue to pray for CF. I knew that Erwin was going to announcement something, but I had no idea that his announcement would be this drastic. I will continue to pray and seek to do the Lord's will, but not on staff.

Yesterday CF was mostly doctrinal more than gospel. We always argue over things that we love, or that we disagree. This will always continue however with unbelievers and those who believe in wrong doctrines will read and debate, that I pray the Holy Spirit will convict them to change.

That's turning the whole forum into debate.

I have mixed feelings about this New CF and what will become of it.
I think we all need to give it alot of time to for the new CF to unfold and blossom into Erwin's goal for this site.

Praying that after the dust settles, things will be just fine and CF will be all the better for the changes.

Overall, a Christian is now on CF anyone who wants to label themselves as such and can become staff and disrupt.

CF would have been better without all the rules, but still with sections WHICH WERE THERE ALREADY where non-Christians could ask questions and debate with Christians, but where Christians could go too.

Christians are to disrupt the world and the world HATES us. This is no surprise. Of course, their will be athiests and unbelievers coming in here to fight with us. We face this in the real world more than we face in the cyber-space world.

Maybe God is telling some of us to do this. I dont' think Erwin is doing this, I truly believe that God convicted Erwin to do this.
