Oh, the only reason I don't stand and fight at CF is because I have a perfectly good forum with sane rules and protocol that I administrate, and it's thriving right now. I don't need to waste my time here if CF is going down the crapper.

Despite what some may think, it is possible to define exactly what one must believe to be a Christian:

1. That the Universe was created by God.

2. That the Bible is the reliable Word of God.

3. That we are all sinners who are destined to go to hell.

4. That God came to earth as Jesus Christ and promised that if we repent of our sins, and ask God as the Holy Spirit to guide us through for the rest of our existence according to His will, that we will have eternal life and a place with Him in Heaven.

The thing is, if so inclined we could all come on here tick the boxes and say I'm a Christian, Its hard to keep people accountable, so select your Icon and post away, Just be loving and kind and who knows what God will do.

If you do not believe in precisely what has been stated, then according to my interpretation of the Bible, you are not a Christian.

But only God can judge.

Jehovas witnesses as far as I know,act what they preach,that at least makes them honest

Its kind of comforting to know I will never make it onto staff on CF.

I dont think the process will favour popular people,I actualy have faith in members,that they woul dchose the wise,honest and confortting people,also,it will be done for specific forums,and you may not get any vote in friendship,but you may get one in debate

Erwin's broken our trust. He's destroyed something we've put a ton of work into on a whim and replaced it with a mockery of what it once was. It's his site, so it's his decision to make in the end, I just work here - and that's about all I really feel up to trying to change.

CF is nothing like any Church, CF has no belief system and its members do not share beliefs or even at times the same religion. A Church has a natural defense against trouble makers in its uniformity. CF has no uniformity, just a mass of differing and irreconcilable viewpoints. People could always read, allowing them to post in inappropriate areas isnt opening the Church its letting them have the pulpit.....

Luckily, your opinion is unimportant. Maybe you should look up what God said on the matter.

I don't recall the chapter and verse, but it goes something like "Anyone who professes that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead shall be saved."

Doesn't seem to mention any of that other stuff you listed.

But... that's a discussion for a different time and place, I think.

Sane rules???? You mean like rules that give staff freedom to do .. . .well basically anything and interpret rules whichever way they please The new situation at CF will mean that staff will be held accountable for their actions, your rules allow your staff to do whatever they please with no accountability.

You don't seem to understand the concept of staff accountability. Just because you can't see what goes on in the background doesn't mean we don't hold staff to the same standards as the general membership in every way. But if you're so concerned with rules and regulations and legalizations, that's your prerogative. We try to run the site as an organic entity and enforce the rules only when absolutely necessary.
