The police team rulling this forum succesfully helped to deconvert many good people in my time around here,at one point I decided I don't want to be called a christian anymore,because of what I was exposed to in the secret rooms,not because of ordinary members.
I watched really nice people turn blind and deaf,uncaring and silly,once they become swallowed by the mod. comunity.
Yes,there were a few mods who kept it together,but mostly they would get a push,that is my observation and exerience.
People who disagreed with literal bible Christianity were not welcomed on this forum,and many were called non believers,patronised,and persecuted.
Other faiths and atheists were never treated with respect and care,with rare exceptions.
Christians need to live and act the love they claim to have for Christ and people,they need to be open to all,and ready to comfort,hug and accept .It is a very dificult task,and I fail it daily,but I at least admit I dont have any answers,and all I can offer is my own experience,and a hug here and there.

Moderating should be about providing a service,not punishment,about being humble and expect nothing.

Definitely ot the case on CF...except a very few.

Without a Biblical basis of what a Christian is (one who follows and upholds the teachings of Jesus - not just being a good person, or things not taught in the Bible), this is not a forum "uniting all Christians".

But different people understand the Bible in different ways. Even if for you, your understanding is obvious, for someone else a different understanding can be obvious. So it's better just to trust people that they are honest in their self-identification.

Well, it was the same before. Just like now anyone can claim to follow Christ, before that anyone could claim to agree with the Nicene Creed. I believe that most people are honest, so I think that the current version is better, because it doesn't exclude honest Christians who don't agree with everything in the NC. As for dishonest people who only claim to be Christian, I don't think there are so many of them that it would be a problem.

Erwin's broken our trust. He's destroyed something we've put a ton of work into on a whim and replaced it with a mockery of what it once was. It's his site, so it's his decision to make in the end, I just work here - and that's about all I really feel up to trying to change.

A Christian MUST believe:

1. That the Universe was created by God.

2. That the Bible is the reliable Word of God.

3. That we are all sinners who are destined to go to hell.

4. That God came to earth as Jesus Christ and promised that if we repent of our sins, and ask God as the Holy Spirit to guide us for the rest of our existence according to His will, that we will have eternal life and a place with Him in Heaven.


If you do not believe in precisely what has been stated, then according to my interpretation of the Bible, you are not a Christian.

But only God can judge.

Jesus preached loving,rather than fighting.I am a Christian,because God gave me faith,and I chose to folow Christ,by trying to live as he urged us to live.

Jesus spoke agains fear,and agains closing ones mind,heart,eyes,ears.I want to live my life with open mind and heart,and I am not affraid to be surrounded by people with different beliefs,nether I call them anti-christ,or wrong.

I see this as an opportunity for Christians to live by example, to teach by example, to have open discussions with others, to find out about different cultures by looking around a person's Faith and looking at who they are as an individual, too.

If we want to live by example we must be kind and willing to listen.

So, I'm not giving any negative or positive reactions until I know what we, the posters of CF, will do. Will we rise to the occasion and be kind ? Or not?

I hope so too. But it seems that most people see the changes as good, so hopefully he won't get disappointed because some people want CF to recognize them as better Christians than those who disagree with them...
