I hope this works.

I have no faith in my liberal friends to be fair and to not to represent themselves as bible believing christians when they are not, though, so I expect the debate sections to be one sided flame wars and the christians-only section to be overrun with the same non believing losers who clearly have no jobs and spend their days wiling away the hours in their mom's basement pretending to be intellectually superior that currently populate the creation and evolution forum.

I hope I'm wrong and things smooth out and conversation can become constructive, but I'm never wrong.

Or I can view you as an "heretic" rather than a Christian. Heresy is even worse than schism. If people separate themselves from teaching that is positively false and unscriptural, they ought to be praised rather than reproved. In such cases separation is a virtue and not a sin.

That is because Erwin is not God, and he has effectively turned it over to those who have no respect for God, Jesus, or any other Christian who is devout.

In a way, Erwin has greased the squeakiest wheels and pandered to those with personal ideals of ethics that have nothing to do with either the Holy Bible or the faithful Christians for centuries.

This is modern world "Christianity; it is secular because that is the version that today's trends demand.

Erwin has made his choice. The rest will be interesting to watch. This is liberalism put to the acid test. And there just may well be more acid than ever seen before.

First of all there were places to already speak with unbelievers. Now we are to be joined in all areas of a "Christian Forum" "Uniting All Christians As One Body"
The name and the slogan couldn't be farther from the truth now.

Actually maybe it will unite all the chrisiatan since they have to all together defend the faith instead of some hiding in there comfortable "pharisees only" synagogs.

Continue on to Psalm 53:3;"There is no one doing good,
Not even one." That means us Christians as well. Get of your high horse.

Romans 1:

It would have been better for Erwin to sell CF than to sell out like this...

I think he's speaking to the fact that everyone to some degree projects aspects of themselves upon Jesus. When you talk to alot of people you find out they've done this when Jesus suddenly loves the same things they love and hates the same things they hate. The Westboro Baptist Church is a good example of such a behavior. In short, he's addressing idolatry, which is probably going to be running rampant in here now. Since all you have to do is merely say you're a Christian now, you're gonna see alot of different Jesus's in this forum.

More like different views of the same Jesus, but there are already a lot of different opinions there. It's natural that people have different views, because we're not clones, and each person understands the world around him/her in a different way.

God created His ordained Governments and has effectively turned it over to those who have no respect for God. Is this any different?

This thread shows me the true distain some Christians have for those who aren't Christian. I'm utterly disgusted. Erwin is wise in his decisions, its already allowing many intentions and negative prejudices be brought to light.

I'm sick of WAR mentality. I am not a force of evil to be fought against. I am not a pawn of evil either. I am not persecuting you by simply existing or discussing important topics. I am a human being, just like you. I just don't have knowledge of Christ like you do. If you think that makes me less than you, a threat to you or your family, a threat to the forum, or a threat to live as you please, you're dead wrong.

Though some would label me a gay liberal babykiller simply because of my lack of Christ, I understand the vast majority of Christians here are reasonable people. Thank you for being what you are and showing the love that Christ talked about.

So Erwin's unlocked the basement door to allow the crazy Aunts and Uncles to see the light of day and already we're trying to push them back down before they even get up the stairs?

Are we afraid they'll get mud on the carpet? Scare the neighbors? Drink all the milk and put the carton back in the fridge empty?

All of these things we have already done. We've really made a mess of this house. Now Erwin's offering up a clean sweep and we're ready to blame the basement dwellers for messes they might make all while we've got muck covering our own hands.

Church is spiritual. Not organizational or body. Christians as a community is a CHURCH.

And yes, they did meet as a "church" in people's homes.

Christ uttered those words when he rose to heaven, the church was born some ten days later at Pentecost.

You are right. Its the believers who are the problem. I can see the unbelievers behave better in other forums. What example we are setting. Are we Christ-like or doctrine-lovers?
