QFT - it certainly was a meaningless never ending wait of the 'other shoe" to drop. Starting BEFORE he was sworn in, there is on record 300 House congressional hearings and more than 900 oversight letters into his actions. Not one charge. Always expecting the next 'shoe to drop' and the shoe instead kicking them in the rear end.

You shouldn't. I'm just saying that Trump's only been vulnerable to indictment for two years, since he got out of office. He's fair game as far as the justice department is concerned. What the Democrats say at this point doesn't really matter.

Completely incorrect - it's been six years - if you want to ignore the hundreds of investigations hoping for an indictment, you are free to do so.

You were talking about indictments. It's been two years since he's been vulnerable to indictments. Sure, they've done all sorts of investigations before that, but they couldn't go anywhere until Trump left office.

Congress can't indict. Oversight letters don't lead to indictments. And Mueller was *NEVER* going to indict the president. (Go read the Mueller report. All of it. Not just the "Barr summary".)

DOJ policy made it a near certainty that Trump would not be indicted while in office. The crimes for which he is most likely to be indicted he only started committing 2 years ago. (See remit of special counsel Jack Smith.)

Not being charged and not committing the crimes are different things. All sorts of crimes go uncharged and even uninvestigated. I see that you will be pushing the "hasn't been found guilty" thing right up until a jury returns that verdict.



Trump's been committing crimes for far longer than 6 years, right in the open. It's just that there is so much deference to the wealthy and New York is no exception to that. (If anything it is particularly bad about it.) He's got lots of lawyers (some of them have been good) and knows how to deflect an investigation and to leave minimal evidence when needed.

Whether or not Trump was or is corrupt and dishonest makes no difference, the left has already condoned it. When the left turned a blind eye to the corruption of the clintons, obama, schiff, bidens, pelosi and so on, they said to the people of the United States that in their minds, corruption is no big deal, corruption is fine, corruption doesn’t bother us. So, it’s too late now to cry foul when someone they don’t like follows in their footsteps, they should have started being concerned in 1993.
