That's the concern I have with Trump 2 All of the messes he's inheriting from Joe Biden; I've read that the administration has been paying over 12 billion for employers to NOT lay off workers; then the migrant payments to the NGO's, combined with the endless war funding, and you may have a perfect storm. If that happens - will you be moving out of a Democratically run state that does not and has not done that for decades?
He did last time - there was more real income growth to the Middle Class than in years. Having an inflations rate of 1.4% and low fuel costs all helped the middle class
Psst.... there was no prelude to war during his last administration - but after four years of Democratically controlled White House and congress there are two major wars happening and now rumored of the start of WW3 after Biden's latest decisions with Ukraine.
Well, everyone dies eventually. But the research shows the "fake" pandemic coincided with a bit over a million excess deaths in the US alone.
Not really - vaccination wasn't widespread until mid-2021. Deaths peaked in February 2021, well before most people had access to the vaccine.Do you find it a little odd that there were MORE excess deaths in the first year of vaccination than there were in the first year of the pandemic?

I received the same condescension when I told of my employer's business dropping off the face of the earth after having 3 record breaking years (of a 70 year old company) during the first Trump term - "but the stock market!" , seemed to be the fall back argument. Good for my 401k, but I still have a few more years before I retire.
Economically, I have a feeling that things may get worse before they get better, under Trump. However, as the numbers show, economics wasn't the sole reason the Democrats failed to connect. The myriad of social issues they attempted to force feed voters put many over the top.

That logic only works if you assume that the previous year was representative of maximum mortality. Which it wasn't, for several reasons - infection rates didn't start spiking until March/April (so it wasn't a full year), lockdowns and masking limited the spread, and people were just generally more cautious into late 2020.Still, if these vaccines "save lives", and vaccination started in late 2020, one would not expect to see an increase in excess deaths. Any vaccine that was touted as "95% effective" should have had a positive impact on excess mortality the year it was introduced.
First of all, I wouldn't call a 15% drop in mortality "nearly the same rate". Second, no, I don't find it odd. Lots of people did not get COVID boosters - uptake was only about 30% for fully-vaccinated people - so the benefits of the vaccine were a bit muted and late 2021/early 2022 was when the Omicron variant, which was more transmissible, became prevalent. People were also getting much more complacent about going to public gatherings and masking.Do you find it odd that people were dying at nearly the same rate more than a year after the vaccines were introduced?

Personally, I wouldn't ask a bunch of economists for analysis of medical data, but you do you.You might want to read this John Hopkins study.
An analysis of each of these three groups support the conclusion that lockdowns have had little to no effect on COVID-19 mortality. More specifically, stringency index studies find that lockdowns in Europe and the United States only reduced COVID-19 mortality by 0.2% on average. SIPOs were also ineffective, only reducing COVID-19 mortality by 2.9% on average. Specific NPI studies also find no broad-based evidence of noticeable effects on COVID-19 mortality.
That's...not how math works. I'm using the relative percentages because I'm comparing two numbers in a relative manner. The absolute difference is irrelevant.I see you're using relative percentages instead of absolutes. Might that be because the difference between 68.26 and 54.26 PER MILLION is an absolute drop of just 0.001%?
I listed it as one possible explanation, not the only one. But it's clear that you've made up your mind on this issue, and as such, there's no point continuing our conversation.Your assertion that motility was high in February 2022 because the vast majority of people chose not to be boosted is not supported by any evidence.

They will focus on jobs instead of woke ideologyThe question is, what are the Republicans actually going to do about the working class now that they've got them? Slaying the woke monster will only go so far to satisfy them.
Yup. All about the “right” to kill a child in the womb. She’s deplorable!I can only speak for my area (Detroit). All of Kamala's ads were about getting an abortion. Never mind that the price of gas and food is sky high. I was waiting for her to say "Let them eat cake". She was out of touch and that led to a red tidal wave.
Odd how the “my body, my choice” crowd demanded everyone get vaccinated and wear a mask.It was fake. No need to shut businesses. No need to force a “vaccine”. No need to mask.
There will be a period of necessary austerity and discipline for the working class as the struggle to MAGA continues. The evil wrought by the Woke Monster is so pervasive that sacrifices must be made to eradicate it fully. That is the usual pattern, anyway.Household income Gini Index U.S. 2023| Statista
In 2023, according to the Gini coefficient, household income distribution in the United States was 0.47.www.statista.com
The GINI coefficient rose under Trump and has decreased under Biden. I expect the income disparity to rise even further under Trump's next term.

Hypocrites
I agree about the hypocrisy. I wore a mask because we were forced to, but never had the covid shot. I don't have an issue with those who did, but I didn't feel they could create a vaccine that quickly that would work without side effects.Odd how the “my body, my choice” crowd demanded everyone get vaccinated and wear a mask.
Hypocrites
For the record, I wore a mask and am fully vaccinated. That was MY personal CHOICE.
Your life, your choice. Period.I agree about the hypocrisy. I wore a mask because we were forced to, but never had the covid shot. I don't have an issue with those who did, but I didn't feel they could create a vaccine that quickly that would work without side effects.
I took the first two jabs, then backed off when they started saying you had to get booster after booster to infinity and beyond.Your life, your choice. Period.
