Ruy Texitera sums it up well. The comments are good, too.

If CF is any example, I kept seeing many on the left telling how good the economy was, and had the charts to back it up. That pretty much ignored the lived experiences of a lt of folks. So I think the article was right on that point.![]()

Of course. The economy in general was and is good. The question is, who benefits? There were plenty of us on "the left" complaining that the tide wasn't lifting all the boats. But the Democrats weren't paying attention and the Republicans were blaming it on the Woke Monster. The question is, having secured the working class, what are the Republicans going to do about it?If CF is any example, I kept seeing many on the left telling how good the economy was, and had the charts to back it up. They'll be back. The question is, what are the Republicans actually going to do about the working class now that they've got them? Slaying the woke monster will only go so far to satisfy them.
That’s true and accurate. If the Trump administration affects the working class like they did last time. It will be a boon for them. The question is, what are the Republicans actually going to do about the working class now that they've got them? I received the same condescension when I told of my employer's business dropping off the face of the earth after having 3 record breaking years (of a 70 year old company) during the first Trump term - "but the stock market!" , seemed to be the fall back argument. Good for my 401k, but I still have a few more years before I retire.Of course. The economy in general was and is good. The question is, who benefits? Ah yes, the social issues. The bait that the Democrats so gleefully handed to the Republicans and now the trap is spung. I hope we enjoy eating it because we won't get much else.I received the same condescension when I told of my employer's business dropping off the face of the earth after having 3 record breaking years (of a 70 year old company) during the first Trump term - "but the stock market!" , seemed to be the fall back argument. Economically, I have a feeling that things may get worse before they get better, under Trump. However, as the numbers show, economics wasn't the sole reason the Democrats failed to connect. The myriad of social issues they attempted to force feed voters put many over the top.

We're supposed to be ignoring the million plus excess deaths and worst jobs record since the great depression, I see. Not to mention the inability to buy toilet paper. That’s true and accurate. If the Trump administration affects the working class like they did last time. It will be a boon for them.
lol. I’m pretty sure we won’t have another fake pandemic. We're supposed to be ignoring the million plus excess deaths and worst jobs record since the great depression, I see. Not to mention the inability to buy toilet paper.
I wouldn't say fake pandemic. I'd say engineerd pandemic. With many deaths that would've happened anyways being attributed to covid.lol. I’m pretty sure we won’t have another fake pandemic.
Well, everyone dies eventually. But the research shows the "fake" pandemic coincided with a bit over a million excess deaths in the US alone. With many deaths that would've happened anyways being attributed to covid.
It was fake. No need to shut businesses. No need to force a “vaccine”. No need to mask.I wouldn't say fake pandemic. I'd say engineerd pandemic. With many deaths that would've happened anyways being attributed to covid.
It really didn’t.Well, everyone dies eventually. But the research shows the "fake" pandemic coincided with a bit over a million excess deaths in the US alone.
Over 1 million extra deaths across what period of time? 2019 to 2023? Is the US population increasing by 6.6 million from 2019 to 2023 being taken into consideration?Well, everyone dies eventually. But the research shows the "fake" pandemic coincided with a bit over a million excess deaths in the US alone.
That's rub - if the Democratic Leadership - whomever it ends up being would listen to their constituents instead of the far left extremist - they could get some of the voters back.If CF is any example, I kept seeing many on the left telling how good the economy was, and had the charts to back it up. That pretty much ignored the lived experiences of a lt of folks. So I think the article was right on that point.
If that happens - will you be moving out of a Democratically run state that does not and has not done that for decades? All I've ever wanted from leadership meaningful support to the middle and lower classes and creating legislation that does not empower and enrich thr owning class further.
He did last time - there was more real income growth to the Middle Class than in years. Having an inflations rate of 1.4% and low fuel costs all helped the middle classIf Trump and his team can make a meaningful impact on the imbalance of salary. Because let's be honest that TRULY is biggest problem in America's economy, IL be impressed.
Psst.... there was no prelude to war during his last administration - but after four years of Democratically controlled White House and congress there are two major wars happening and now rumored of the start of WW3 after Biden's latest decisions with Ukraine. But I also think you don't have much of a memory if you think a republican controlled everything is going to do that. Democrats BARELY do it and Republicans seem to be closer to being at war with the working class.
LOL! That would depend on which "far left extremists" You mean. The elitist culture war leadership don't listen to their working class constituents and they aren't really "far left extremists" on any other issues. That has been evident for a long time to anyone who has been paying attention and was made plain when Hillary muscled Bernie out of the 2016 nomination--which is when I quit being a Democrat. That's rub - if the Democratic Leadership - whomever it ends up being would listen to their constituents instead of the far left extremist - they could get some of the voters back.
