:D Jesus certainly gave you a bright idea! :holy: I surely have seasons of beeeeeeeeeeeing a weepy sheepy! Tiz surely better to be overly sensitive rather than not sensitive enough! As one being highly sensitive would be more sympathetic towards others and their feelings. While hardheaded people stomp on through, oblivious to any hoof marks they have left on the hearts of those around them!

Jesus, Himself was certainly super-sensitive, amazingly kindhearted and keenly discerning!

Our sensitivity He will work for His good and glory! Twill serve us well in ministry, being extra sensitive to His Spirit's leading and to the burdens of others. :amen:

Isaiah 42:2-3 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth.

Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Philippians 2:1-2 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

I really want to know your stories. It's a good way to helping others, specially me.

God Bless you!

:wave:Welcome abord Xemp!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I will start off by saying my feeling get hurt ever so easily. My father would say that I am very "thin skin" that I would have to get a thicker skin. The reason why is if someone would look at rudly or cross, I would think that they are deliberly trying to be hateful. As I got older I would notice things more and more. Things that others would not even think about. Well one day at work my boss's up and down moods began to affect me. So I thought that it was time for me to see a counselor and see if this is just me. She knew that I was VERY sensitive and that is how I pick up SO EASILY on others mood swings. I would get either down or anxious about this. As time went on she then recomended that I would go on anxiety medication. Today that is what I am on. I still get bothered by others moods. EXAMPLE: I can even tell when something is bothering my roommate EVEN if she is trying to supress the issue. The way I can pick up on it is JUST by her tone of voice. Sometimes that can work against me where as I think that someone is being rude (written or verbal) and I take it to heart. THE GREAT thing is I am quick to notice when people are feeling down and I try to do what ever GOD wants me to do to cheer them up....sometimes when I am feeling down and I have cheered up others it cheers me up!!!
Some do not understand this trait where as GOD wants me to look at it as a blessing.
After all he made us sensitive ones for a reason....FOR HIS PURPOSE and to GLORIFY HIM!!!!!
I PRAY that this has helped you out!!!:prayer: Again welcome aboard dear friend!!!
Take care, be at peace and GOD BLESS YOU!!!!

S1! :D

What you describe about discerning your roommate's even unspoken burdens is the compassion of Christ! He has bestowed upon you the gift of compassion...taking on the burdens of others as if they were your very own! :prayer: This will certainly help to lighten their load and draw them closer to Jesus who loves them!

Galatians 6:2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Certainly us being made extra-sensitive has Divine purpose in that others will learn through our examples to be MORE sensitive to others themselves!

I so much agree with that. Being extra sensitive is SUCH a blessing in that way. I LOVE to lend a helping had so that others is not suffering. HOWEVER, my feelings CAN get hurt VERY easily!! Sometimes it is hard for me in that sence. BUT, I think that all in all being sensitive is great!!!!
God Bless you dear one!!!

I notice others feelings also, But I don't like to try to cheer them up. I try to be the "driest"as possible. Even if I really want to do it by inside, I try to do not show it up. I don't know why, but I don't care If others will be nice or not. I have some people that I really like and only for these ones I do something to cheer them up.

Hello people. I guess you'd say i'm pretty sensitive, I cry easily and get my feelings hurt easily...

 Greetings ~*{Babydoll}*~!!!
Welcome to the club!!!
I am SOOOOOOOOO like you seeing that I do get my feelings hurt very very easily:cry: ...Here is a prime example....
Yesterday my roommate and I was in this shop buying some scarfs for my hat just so I do NOT get sunburned when I go to Florida. Well AS SOON as my roommate (NewLight04) & I walked to the register to pay for the scarfs. The associate looked right at us and looked at her co-worker and said "Oh...I have GOT to tell you something"....
Then looked right back at us. WELL.....I got so upset, that right after the transaction I looked at my roommate and said REALLY loud...OH I HAVE GOT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING...and laughed and laughed....VERY VERY loud....I know that is NOT very Christian like...BUT I AM SO SICK OF PEOPLE LAUGHING AT ME............!!!!!!!!!!
So ANYWAY that is just one example how my feelings get hurt so gosh darn easily!!!
WELCOME...and God bless you my friend!!!
