The one the Bible promises us, of course. We HAVE AN ADVOCATE:
1Jo 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

There IS NO OTHER DEFENSE.

What is a good defense?

I just wanted to say - I'm glad you brought it up. That is one of the prayers I focus on the most. (That whole part of the petitions really but it culminates there.)

our defense is Christ. He is our Judge, Jury, and Defense Attorney.

And I never asked, but I'm glad I was thinking of it in the right way. That's all the defense I've got. Thank you Father.

I think it's instructive to think about what a bad defense would be. "Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?" If we do not keep the Lord's commandments, we demonstrate our lack of love for Him, and we will have to answer for it.

The only good defense is blessed silence, so Christ can speak. What justice would there be in the world if Christ were not both the judge and our defender?
