As far as I know Paul (Pauler) is still the owner of the site. Tonks is one of the Advisors.

I'm not sure if Advisors or Pauler have seen this thread yet. I know they are very busy at times so I suggest a PM to them with a link to this thread. And to avoid mass PM's about it.. I suggest the OP of this thread sends it.

Technically, this thread does not go against the purpose of this forum, which is to suggest new forums.

As far as I know, though, staff has great scope in determining what a violation actually is.

It's a coin toss really.

As a former staffer, I am aware that your current staff might not wish you to see this suggestion, so please take a quick look before it is swept away.

I can assure you that many members and former staffers would be able to help you correct the downward spiral that CF is on in terms of membership, site clicks, and your volunteer staffers.

Please help us. One word from you could help fix this site.

We only wish to see CF return to its former glory.

Oh well. For what it is worth, I think this is a good idea and a reasonable suggestion. I can also remember being on staff and quite understand why we are where we are.

Nevertheless, conversation is good, and any community is only as thriving as it members feel like they have a stake in it.

And having successfully butchered the english language, I must go to work!

Fact of the matter is that discussions about how a site functions are usually good for the site. I suspect it has a lot to do with people feeling pleased that their input is sought and it goes a L O N G way to providing the kind of healthy atmosphere a good site has.
