That's absolutely right --- but I cannot travel back in time, so I use the Authorized Version that God intends for us to use today.
I happen to have a digitally-remastered Geneva Bible, as well as a first-edition 1611 King James --- very interesting reading.
How could we possibly argue with that, a first edition King James bible written in 1611,
they really knew what they were talking about back then, religion was religion, no messing about,
witches burnt at stakes, casting out of demons, Satan was in full flow doing his dirty deeds,
it was a really good time to be religious, I'm sure you would have loved to be alive then AV,
think how many virgins you could have condemned to death for thinking bad thoughts,
and the best thing of all, people would have believed the garbage you spout,
they were afraid of their own shadows, yes, it was a really good time for religion,
if anyone even mentioned the word GOD, people fell to their knees, in FEAR, (never love, strange that)
a truly wonderful time to be religious, the bible really meant something back then,
and only a few people would have been able to read it, but it struck fear into everyone.
Superstition is a really wonderful thing, because it's kept religion alive for generations,
how would the world be able to manage without superstition? what a boring place it would be,
no wars, no hate, everyone getting along, boring boring boring.
