Yeah your right who knows aye - chance: 1 in 10 to the power of 390. Woo big chance!
Let me know when you ever find out?
There are other ways, but this life is the best way apparently. If we sjip class here, we still need to retake it in heaven I would suspect.
Life everlasting is a gift man receives here actually. Like a round the world vacation, that starts off with a cab ride. After the cab, there may still be the planes, boats, trains and etc. We cannot tell the people in the cab they have no vacation. They have the documentation...as we do...we have His word.
God's word is evidence.No. It is anecdote.
If you expect manscience to be able to follow normal procedures to evidence the works of old that God did, you have another think coming.
I could say the exact same thing to explain why the magic we see in the Harry Potter books is real.
That does not say the Hebrews were the only workers actually. Besides, in an emergency they could draft military or others.
Alright. And if you could provide evidence of other, non-Hebrew slaves? Or evidence that they made the military do it?
Prove it.
Prove it wasn't.
Make up your mind here. Are you saying that there WERE a majority of slaves that were Hebrew there? What happened to them then...they disappeared??
No, I am saying that if you can show me evidence that there were other slaves in Egypt who were NOT Hebrew, I'd be willing to change my position.
Honestly, I thought I was quite clear.
Hey so some folks may have had to hire help or cook and babysit themselves etc. Whoopee do.
And maybe the farmer had to sow ALL the fields all by himself instead of getting his slaves to do it for him. But that's okay, surely it would have been easy for one man to do the work of all his slaves...
Someone's cat was walking across their keyboard apparently.Yeah your right who knows aye - chance: 1 in 10 to the power of 390. Woo big chance!

Jesus did not tell John and the others that they should run around and write a record before He died. He told them the Holy Spirit definitely would come down and make sure that they remembered it all perfectly in due time. By the way, if they got it wrong, why would John, in his very old age not have noticed? He not only gave approval to the recorded Scripture but wrote new stuff long after the gospels were a done deal. Jesus also verified that all the old testament was correct! To not believe either text is to disbelieve Jesus...which is what it is all really about. So cut the smoke and mirrors. And all records of what he said and did were written down at least 40-50 years after he was executed, so...
Surely you realize I don't believe that happened.
In other words John and Peter saw Jesus with the folks who 'died' long ago. Face it.Moses appeared with Jesus... along with Elijah.
Only in your world is having a vision of someone proof that they were real.
Personally, I figure it is easier to do it this way.So why not just do that?
No. Because that is only part of the journey. This cab ride of lie is not the whole deal.Uh, no. Unless you plan on taking the entire trip in that cab, your analogy falls apart.
How do you know this? Were you there?Jesus did not tell John and the others that they should run around and write a record before He died.
Which would explain why all four "accounts" vary significantly, and one so much so, it doesn't even sound like they're describing the same "Jesus."He told them the Holy Spirit definitely would come down and make sure that they remembered it all perfectly in due time.
Which they did.By the way, if they got it wrong,
Senility?why would John, in his very old age not have noticed?
Maybe, maybe not.He not only gave approval to the recorded Scripture but wrote new stuff long after the gospels were a done deal.
I must have missed this. Do you have a copy, signed by Jesus himself?Jesus also verified that all the old testament was correct!
Or, to not believe what men wrote about Jesus. To not believe either text is to disbelieve Jesus...
It's really about believing things you can substantiate with evidence.which is what it is all really about.
Wait, aren't you the creationist? So cut the smoke and mirrors.
It is in the gospels actually. Jesus promised to bring it to their remembrance by the Spirit. How do you know this? Were you there?
False. They are accounts that agree, by different folks who emphasize different aspects of what went down.Which would explain why all four "accounts" vary significantly, and one so much so, it doesn't even sound like they're describing the same "Jesus."
The apostles used the old testament writings, and confirmed them as true blue. They were friends of Jesus who verified that the record of Jesus is true also. Scripture IS His Signature.I must have missed this. Do you have a copy, signed by Jesus himself?
Or, to not believe what men wrote about Jesus.
Or about disbelieving them with no evidence, depending on who is talking. It's really about believing things you can substantiate with evidence.
Wait, aren't you the creationist?
Jesus did not tell John and the others that they should run around and write a record before He died. He told them the Holy Spirit definitely would come down and make sure that they remembered it all perfectly in due time.
Christians were. If you want do doubt last week, and history, well, find an appropriate venue.Oh, you were there when he said it? How wonderful.

Christians were. If you want do doubt last week, and history, well, find an appropriate venue.
hahaBut the Bible is neither, and that seems to have been his point.
hahaYou doubt what even your eyes see. I don't think you can point a finger at anyone.
Personally, I figure it is easier to do it this way.
No. Because that is only part of the journey. This cab ride of lie is not the whole deal.
Where is this wonderful time machine?? I could use it to travel back in time and i'd be finished my science degree by now instead of wasting 3 years in nursingChristians were. If you want do doubt last week, and history, well, find an appropriate venue.
hahaYou doubt what even your eyes see. I don't think you can point a finger at anyone.
We do not need to know it all. We need to trust.Isn't it funny that God works in mysterious ways, unless we can think of a plausible explanation, and then he did it that way?
No around the world is too big a part of that analogy, just a little cab ride to the airport of death. But you said we get eternal life HERE. Since, in your analogy, the life we have on Earth is just the cab ride, you are saying that we get our trip around the world in the cab.
