ok guys and gals can yuou help me out here? it has been over 5 years since I was last in college and involved with creating spreadsheets and tables and stuff.

I am wanting to develop a stats table to be shared with leaders to easily view the fluctuations and changes made across the board for our forum such as new pet workers, team lists, A list stats (who is on and who is off) etc. I would like to creats a page of all living pets that would include a table to easily view what team they are on, which list on that team, the worker name for that pet, and any other vital info so we have a 'big picture outlook' for reference sake. I would also like to create a page for each team with only thier pets and possible work pages for workers to use to keep track of any notes they would like such as blessings used for feeding, times they are here, if there are pets that need extra TLC at times, etc. I ahve used such tables myself daily and weekly but they are only on my pc and in front page but I dont know how to upload to the web to share with others. I haev tried to create a table and copy paste it into a post but it never transfers as a table but rather as a list.

my possible resources at present, I just downloaded MSN Live and messenger, I have a fully detailed photobucket account with unlimited band usage, I have front page on my pc and excel (office XP professional edition), and of course anything available through this site that I may or may not be aware of. I recall a post here for a link to download a program that will allow me to take a 'snapshot' and will go check that now, maybe it will help also.

Don't know if this would help, but it does work, and saves and etc. I have the same system here, and I have works, got some charts off it.
I am not sure, but wouldn't it be better for you to get info from HERE first, then put it in whatever program, save it to your puter, then I think you could go back and forth with it.
I am waiting for word to be installed on my puter,(98 windows word) I know you can do all this with word.
Try that site, is something like word, and does work. Sorry if I don't make sense, not to techie smart, just sharing what I have tried.
Don't make our info so complicated that we can't understand it.

We do have the List of All Living Pets being updated all the time and that is VERY easy to know what pet is on which team Any Below the # of 1000 is Team Love's.
All pets that are above #1000 and is EVEN #'d, is Team Faith's. Same token...All pets that are above #1000 and is ODD is Team Hope's

Word Rawwwks Bonnie, I have EVERYTHING saved there finally You'd mentioned before that a screen shot is refering to what computer key, Bonnie?

Also, Maggie's thread of All Pet Workers should be utilized and updated as new workers come..and others leave

they have a lot of great stuff on there, I made my sparkle sig from there, now trying to make a blinkie.

My guy that is supposed to be helping me up date this computer for some reason is dragging his feet. Does anyone know how or where I could download ms word(really liked the 98 one),or ms office, excel,or power point??? I am sooo sick of waiting for people to DO thinkgs(have finished bathroom, another story) I did a trial run of putting a few pets on this site I gave here and they are still there, but that is not a permanet fix, downloading them to my computer is!!!! So if any of you have a free link to any of these would appreciate the info. Read that tutorial Squeeg think you'll find it helpful

thanks gals, SIMPLE is what I am aiming at, it is hard to explain, I would do a lot of work behind the sceens but in the end what we would have is a visual aid graphic, a table, that would have the pets listed so taht in one view we could quickly see the pet ID number, the type and name of the pet, which team it is on, and the worker that is overseeing its care and any other pertinent info. it is my hope to prepare it and do the hard work so that as I said it can then be used as a 'quick reference' of sorts. my biggest problem is creating a table that will transfer into a post here as you see like in the character item armory store, when you first go to the character section from the blue box at top of page you go to the store select screen and you see a 'table' with the headings...name/description/total items/total sold then below it is a set of rows that divide those categoreis into armor-swords, armor-shields, armor-belts etc. BUT if you try to copy/paste that table into a post you get this........

I've not had any time to go there, but am curious what you think of it...Easy? I can always you an easy program for these sorts of things as I don't like Excel...only because I've really not played with it enough.

yes I am all for everyone managing their own stuff. I am just trying to provide a chart for all leaders (and anyone interested on rescuers I guess) that will give quick links to check for trouble areas, for instance while training new workers or if the server has been down or if a worker is having tech problems with thier personal pc and wants someone to look in on thier pets. I am in no means trying to play 'big brother' as I rather realy upon trust that everyone IS doing thier part, but things happen, tech and all.

I will look at this link in a few, gonns send a couple PMs and get back to it, thanks Bonnie and 4 and warrior for your input, any more thoughts come to mind, please let me know.
