Answer the question: Can an incarcerated prisoner still kill, steal or destroy?
I did answer the question, I quoted what Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 5:8.
You should try reading it instead of just heeding men's doctrines.
Your avoidance proves my point. You have to complete that scripture “... whom resist steadfast in the faith. Premil is always exalting the influence of Satan. It portrays a small impotent Jesus, a powerless Church and a big devil.
Amil and Postmil on the other hand have a big Jesus, a powerful Church and a small devil. There is multiple scripture that shows the redeemed have power over Satan in this new covenant period. There is not one that says he has power over us.
You haven't proven anything, except maybe in your dreams.
I don't think this is true. We know Jesus is FAR tougher than the devil - no comparison can be made between the creator and the created. However, some also know that satan is the god of this present world (and will be until the 7th trumpet) and as the spiritual leader of earth has power over all who don't know Jesus. In fact, he exercises power over believers IF they let him.Your avoidance proves my point. You have to complete that scripture “... whom resist steadfast in the faith." Jesus indeed defeated the devil on His cross, and that sealed the ultimate prophecy of Satan's fate to perish in the lake of fire. But Peter in 1 Peter 5:8 showed Satan was not bound, nor cast out of this world yet at the cross.
The KJV...
John 14:30
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me.
KJV
That "Hereafter" is in the NT manuscripts. It points to after the cross. And indeed, after the cross our Lord Jesus appeared and spoke with His disciples for a short period afterwards. That moves the event of Satan "cometh" to some time after the cross.
The actual time Rev.12:7 forward shows when Satan is cast down to the earth is for the tribulation. The event of Archangel Michael making a "stand" in Daniel 12:1 is in association with that Rev.12:7 war. And what follows in Dan.12:1 is the time of trouble the world has never seen before, nor ever will again, i.e., the tribulation.
Your theory is right, but your timing is 2000 years off. Revelation 12 timing is seconds after the midpoint of the FUTURE 70th week.Jesus said satan would be cast out the cross
John 12:21-33 Now judgment is upon this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” He said this to indicate the kind of death He was going to die.
Jesus said satan would be coming after the cross.
John 14:30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me
Lo and behold, revelation 12 ties both together, satan is cast out heaven at the ascension of Christ and thrown to earth where he persecutes the people of God.
I don't think this is true. We know Jesus is FAR tougher than the devil - no comparison can be made between the creator and the created. However, some also know that satan is the god of this present world (and will be until the 7th trumpet) and as the spiritual leader of earth has power over all who don't know Jesus. The truth is, God can do very little on earth UNLESS a believer prays with faith. Why? Because Satan has authority here except when a believer takes it away from him. Does this make Satan big and Jesus small? Not at all. We all know Satan's time is coming when he will be cast down.
There is multiple scripture that shows the redeemed have power over Satan in this new covenant period. There is not one that says he has power over us. AMEN!
I refer you back to the various avoided posts that debunk Premil.
I refer you back to your Wizard of Oz dream, because I already debunked your theories.
Sometimes, I like your answers!
Good post! Michael's signal for war will be the 7th trumpet when the LEGAL transaction takes place of the kingdoms of earth taken from Satan and handed over to Jesus Christ. It is my believe that Adam's 6000 year lease EXPIRED! Suddenly Satan will have no more legal hold to earth.
Your evasive fly-by posts don't cut it. They only reveal how redundant Premil is. It has zero corroboration. It is a non-corroborative theory that conflicts with multiple Scripture. You cannot even address the most basic of questions because they forbid your doctrine.
I really don't care what you think about me. Your slanders don't affect me one single bit. But the Moderators might care, so keep it up to your own character decimation.
Yet, this powerless Satan holds untold millions of people hostage in false religions. He is very good at deception. All Revelation 20 is demonstrating is: before the first resurrection, the Gentiles were in darkness, after that the Gospel light removed the ignorance. This came in the form of the great commission. Satan is powerless to curtail the global invasion of his kingdom. He is powerless to stop the Church of Jesus Christ. He is restrained in spiritual chains in a spiritual prison. Repeated Scripture shows that the Church has now been given spiritual power over Satan to bind his power, spoil his goods, damage his kingdom and thwart his plans.
Sorry, NOT added, just understanding. Did I SAY it was "the 7th trumpet?" I did not. I said that the 7th trumpet would be Michael's SIGNAL. For millennials of time Michael had had to show respect for Satan But the 7th trumpet will be his signal that it is time for war. Of course the war won't start at that instant! It will take some time for Michael and His hosts of angels to move - but it will probably be a very small amount of time.Nah, you're adding to the Scriptures again!
The Revelation 12:7-9 event is NOT the 7th Trumpet. Instead, it is the START of the great tribulation event with Satan and his angels being cast out of Heaven down to our earth.
The 7th Trumpet event is tied with the 7th Vial of Revelation 16 that happens with Jesus' coming to do battle per Armageddon, destroying His enemies on earth. It's all over when that happens. This is why the 7th Trumpet shows all the kingdoms of this world becoming those of The Father and His Son at that point in time (Rev.11).
Your avoidance proves my point. You have to complete that scripture “... whom resist steadfast in the faith." Premil is always exalting the influence of Satan. You sound like a man who THINKS they know, when in fact, they don't. Your posts have been found in error by other posters again and again. No slander! Just challenging your doctrine and mode of interpretation, which is faulty. It is you that throws the personal slights.
Hmmm. It seems we get a lot of "fiction" here on these threads. You haven't been able to prove the pre-trib rapture theory your on, so now you have to revert to fictions. Maybe you ought to write a fiction book, might suit your approach better.
