  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well, I finally embarked on a new journey. The journey of actually learning what I am going to be studying. I know its a foreign concept for undergrad studies, since so much time can be spent on the extra-curricular activities encumbent upon a younger individual finding his or her way in life, meeting friends, being away from home for the first time etc., etc. Okay, all the stuff that makes going to school fun and adventurous.

So grim little me has started studies with Global Baptist Bible College, working towards a BBS online.

There were a couple of reasons that brought me to GBBC for studies.....

oops, my microwave curry chicken is ready, so more later....

One is that I have a permanent disability which effects my short-term memory, and so it takes longer to learn, than someone else who might be learning the same material. GGBC allows me to learn at my own pace, so if I take a week or two to finish a lesson, that's okay. The second is a sense of calling not only for my personal learning and development but for the ministry of the word being active not only in me but in sharing the light which Jesus said to not put under a bushel but to shine forth as a city on a hill. The third of my couple of reasons is that I come with a Baptist perspective, and understanding, though I consider myself a Christian above being a Baptist. The fourth is that because I live on disability assistance I am unable to pay regular tuition fees, and this gives me an opportunity to learn without financial hardship.

So, all in all, praise the Lord for His wonderful grace and mercy!
