I posted earlier. You probably missed it. :)

I was a little under the weather and rested earlier. I'm feeling better now and had some soup. I'm sorry you're not feeling well.

~Bella
Oops, my bad! I tend to read literally just the last post in threads. :)

What soup did you have? I have this bone broth I drink if I'm feeling sick.

No worries. I do the same. :)

I had chicken soup earlier with bone broth. But it didn't stay down. After a nap and ginger beer I had a cup of clam chowder. I knew the potatoes would be fine. And I'd be hungry by morning.

Is the fatigue the culprit for you?

~Bella
That sounds like a pretty good meal to help. I'm sorry you got sick after the soup, though. No fun. Do you have a fever?

And, I definitely think the fatigue is the culprit. I didn't sleep well at all last night and running around for 11 hours did me in :)

Thank you. I don't have a fever. The food wouldn't digest. It was in a weird spot. Out was the only option.

I'm sorry you didn't sleep well. When I have trouble resting I add a few drops of lavender essential oil to the bed and sheets and put on the harp channel on the Calm Radio app. Its so relaxing, I sleep like a baby.

You may find it helpful to create a Trello board for your schedule. Seeing it up close makes adjustments much easier.

~Bella
Good thing you didn't have a fever! Lavender does work for sleep and destressing. I've never used essential oils, but know lavender is really good :)

I did want to use Calm, but I use Abide instead. Abide is basically the same as Calm, but it does Scriptures and Bible stories and helps you with your breathing. There's a section specifically made for sleep.

Im thankful for sunny days.
Same here :) What did you do to enjoy it?

I went outside to see the baby chicks and watch them run around and play.

Good for you! Is it a traditional or devotional bible study?

~Bella

I often do both, but focus more on trying to talk about the original context of why such and such was said, but since contemporary issues are on peoples mind I often find uses for that. Sometimes this is a little opaque to modern readers because of the near east culture of the Bible, or some other historical footnotes of the day that they probably don't know about.

Today I'm thankful for the gift of the Holy Spirit which helps us understand how God is working in our lives.

"The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit." - 1 Corinthians 2:14

That my father is still alive. Although today he got a call from the doctor some of the test results are a little worrying. But still, it reminded me that he was incredibly close to death months ago.

I’m glad to hear he’s doing well. I hope you have many years together.

~Bella

Hopefully. Glad his cognitive abilities are fine too. He was in a coma on a respirator for about a month. The doctors thought he may have some brain damage, yet all the cognitive tests he's done he's gotten near perfect scores (and well within the passing range). From talking to him, he seems as sharp as ever. Its not just that he didn't die, I didn't want the "old" him to go away either. When he was in the hospital and all drugged up, I thought he did have brain damage and that was pretty hard in itself. Thankfully he seems to have cleared up.
