I don't really know what to title this, but I'm scared right now. So I was just looking through some memes on the internet because I was bored, and whenever I found one that I found funny, I'd send it to my brother. It's a thing we do, we just send memes to each other. Well today I sent a picture to him. The picture had someone saying that something was divine intervention. It clearly wasn't, and it was meant to be funny in the picture, as a reference to a quote in a video game. I kind of realized sub consciously that the meme was bad in some way because of that, but only after sending it did I really realize just how bad it was. So I deleted it right after and now I'm ashamed in myself and scared. Does anyone have any reassurance? It'd be very appreciated.

If you say God's Holy Spirit is actually Satan, and believe it, then
you have created a barrier that God's forgiveness cannot cross.

That is the only sin you cannot get forgiveness for.
Jesus forgave those who crucified him...while they did it.
God can deal with a meme, no problem. He might chuckle, I don't know for sure.

I'm ashamed in myself and scared.

Ashamed I can understand, but why are you scared?

What have you done. Sent a silly picture to your brother, had second thoughts and deleted it.
What is there to be scared of?

Was the message of the picture and your intention in sending the picture your way of rejecting Jesus?

Don't you know that the Holy Spirit indewelling in every Christian interprets our deepest most unexpressable thoughts and longings.

God knows how you feel, so tell him as per 1John 1:9

I highly recommend you take a chill pill and decompress - I tend to have a sarcastic sense of humor and enjoy other's sharp and biting whit for which I make no apologies for. It's not like you blasphemed Christ or anything...and even if you inadvertently did that's what confession and restoration is about. <Deep Breath>

Well, I would appreciate it greatly if you would all pray for me, as a comment I made on the subject of abortion would surely have grievously hurtful, to a good, eventually, like all of us, we hope, saintly, souls, who for one reason or another were persuaded or rail-roaded into having their child aborted.

I look at it this way, Viktor : God's shoulders are broad. Ours tend not be, in comparison, by a very wide margin ; so I hope you can take some comfort from that.
