  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So that justifies denying food and medical care to people? Even our enemies are to blessed. You cant even give food or medicine without complaining. What makes you think you can throw guilt trips around?

There ya go arguing about the politics you don't care about again.

So what? They chased off thugs, criminals with a gun. Good for them! Remember, they burned down a lot more than a gas station.
They took the opportunity to even the score with various business owners in the community. The inner city has gotten to be a lot worse under Obama. There is a lot more of a issue of entitlement. They think the white man owes them something without them having to do anything for it.

Which is why they are losers for life. Their basic foundation of beliefs is seriously flawed. I know blacks who say, "Not for me. I'm out of here." and they make their way to a new path and find success in life. IF they are willing to work for it and not give up, they can find a measure of success just like the rest of us. But they prefer to live in self-pity and wallow in the cesspool of victim-hood.

Coming from an American, I know that warring against the natives and enslaving the Africans was wrong. I know that denying HC and food stamps to anyone is wrong. Even our enemies are to be blessed. That's what we are commanded. You are putting faith in politicians instead of God. If I have any feedom its because God gave it. You glorify politicians and say they gave us freedom and we should vote for them so they can keep us free. As if Gods blessing depended on our vote. God puts up nations and brings the down. Its not my vote that does anything. My vote is to do Gods will. He never commanded me to force the gospel onto unbelievers, or to divide the church over worldly politics. God commanded only that I do good for all people, even my enemies, and to pray. Nothing more nothing less.
Exodus 17
The Amalekites Fight the Israelis
8 After this, the Amalekites came and fought with the Israelis at Rephidim.
9 Moses told Joshua, “Choose some men for us and go out to fight against the Amalekites. Tomorrow I’ll stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.”
10 So Joshua did as Moses told him and fought against the Amalekites, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 Whenever Moses raised his hand, the Israelis prevailed, but when his hand remained at his side, then the Amalekites prevailed.
12 When Moses’ hands became heavy, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other, and so his hands were steady until the sun went down.
13 Joshua defeated Amalek and his army using swords.

Even when God directly fights for us He still expects us to do our part, not just sit down and wait for Him to save us.

The government controls the schools. The inner city should be getting a better education then what they are getting. Obama graduated from Harvard and this is what we end up with? Under trump they want to return control of the education back to the states. I wonder how that is going to work out. My guess is that they will keep screwing it up like they have been screwing it up for a very long time now. 20% of the teachers are good 20% of the students are good. What about the other 80%? What are we going to do with them. They are losing their jobs overseas because we can not compete anymore. We had a foreign exchange student from China and he was amazed that no one at the High School was taking anything serious.

Jesus wouldn't have sent the saints to America to war against the Natives, enslave the Africans, and build an earthly kingdom. That's not what the kingdom is about. You are confused.

Wars and conflict have been part of the human experience since man was kicked out of the garden, who are you to negatively judge people who lived hundreds of years before you were born, who endured things and faced challenges you can't imagine and built a country rich enough so people who don't want to work don't have to.....think pretty highly of yourself don't you

That is on a personal level. He never instructed states for do such things otherwise criminals would run free.

Exactly,i suppose some people think the justice system should consist of go and sin no more, again and again and again....oh that's right we're almost there.

Even when God directly fights for us He still expects us to do our part, not just sit down and wait for Him to save us.

That's what Paul did, he waited for God. He knew the difference between carnal Israel and the spiritual kingdom. That's why he gave up all things for Christ. He bore his shame and persecution as he was called many names by the carnal unbelievers who minded earthly things. We wait for the Lord too. We look to heaven and wait for him there.

Philippians 3:17 Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. 18 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Seems he was doing far more than waiting; he was teaching, preaching and writing letters wouldn't you agree?

How about taking this off the personal level and get back on topic por favor?

Be glad to when people quit suggesting, however vague and veiled it may be,that they are better than you because you disagree with them,my suggestion would be to list the benefits of encouraging dependence on government.

I assume there are different areas of discussion here to reflect the fact that we do live in a material world with issues, some just seem to want to show up and say it doesn't matter because we're Christians....not much discussion there.

Jesus went around preaching, teaching and healing the sick. That is what we are to do. He came to give us an example on how we are to live our lives.
