Martes = day of the god "Mars"
Miercoles = day of the god "Mercury"
Jueves = day of the god "Jupiter"
Viernes = day of godess "Venus"
Sabado = derived from the latin sabbati dies (sabbat day). Howcome day 6 and not day 7 is the day of rest?

Domingo = Dies Dominicus Day of the lord
