Because God (intelligence) organized in that way!

Creating the compass of the Earth and giving the Earth a spherical shape that we can see now, making the laws, gravitation, thermo dynamical laws, centrifugal and centripetal forces, etc, and all the laws that require the universe.

This is really important, the transmission of energy that we observe today, is called electromagnetic spectrum and is just a name that scientists give a bunch of types of radiation when they want to talk about them as a group. Radiation is energy that travels and spreads out as it goes, visible light comes from a lamp in your house or radio that comes from a radio station. Other examples of radiation are microwaves, infrared and ultraviolet light, X-rays and Gamma rays. In fact all types of energy travel with waves, except for nuclear forces which are involved in the structure of matter itself.

The Big Bang theory has nothing to do with evolutionary theory. But since you asked, the moderately heavy elements are produced in stars as a by-product of fusion. The heavy elements are produced in supernova explosions.
