Next time, instead of going to AI why not go to a genetics book or website?

AI helps me by condensing information, saving me a lot of time and effort. I subscribe to an AI service that provides summaries of YouTube videos so I don't have to listen to the entire content needlessly. It costs me $10 per month, but if I commit to a yearly plan, it would be $7 per month.

I do not pay for a grammar program to correct my posts because AI (copilot) does that for free.

Most books are a waste of time. The author is confused and does not know what they are talking about. AI will read the book for us and give us the information we want or need. Copy right infringement is an issue but that seems to work itself out.

I fight with AI a lot and I usually win and that is fun for me. Right now I have been learning about the north pole and exactly what it is. Although it does not actually exist. As AI says: It is not an imaginary line, but it is indeed a point that does not have a physical landmark.

Right now I am learning what the Arctic Circle is and what it represents. So at the equator a day is 24 hours. At the north pole a day is one year for the most part. Or for all practical purposes.

I don't know about pride, but I would say YECs need to learn that age is needed to sustain this planet under its current conditions.

The snow compacts over time. Nice try though, you gave it your best shot. I do understand your math. If you have two miles of ice at five feet per year, then you have a few thousand years of accumulation and that would agree with YEC (Young Earth Creationism).

When considering a straightforward accumulation rate, 5 feet per year would result in 12,000 feet of ice over 2,400 years, not millions of years.

The millions of years figure comes from understanding that the ice sheet is a result of continuous cycles of accumulation, compaction, melting, and movement over vast geological timescales.

To repeat. The rate in that part of Greenland is 5 feet a year. So in 50 years, we would expect 250 feet of accumulation.

The difference lies in how ice accumulates and compacts over time. The deeper layers of the ice sheet are much older because they formed earlier in Earth's history and have since been buried by newer ice. No, I did all the math myself. Isn't Dr Dino the guy that spent 10 years in jail for income tax evasion? I remember sending him an email to try and warn him but he ignored me. I told him the government is not that difficult to get along with and it is not good to try to dispute them like he was doing. Although I was talking more about the building inspectors because I worked with them.
