It looks like it would be very good Cliff! I've always enjoyed Kent Hovind, although he tells the same corny jokes repeatedly throughout his seminar. :) He also believes in the immortal soul, but his heart is in the right place.

Right Lainie--I must say that I love Hovind's science, but not his religion.!! lol Did you notice that when he talks about death he always says, "Your going to dead a LONG LONG time"!! Then turns around and says that your going to "hell when you die"??? Poor man is a bit confused!! But then again the word Babylon means "confusion by MIXING"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, I have to agree with you, Jonathan. Scientists certainly don't know everything.

Did you know that before we tested the first atomic bomb at the Trinity site in N.M. that HALF of the scientists there thought that the explosion would start a chain reaction of burning oxygen which would have resulted in ALL of the breathable oxygen in the atmosphere being burned up all around the world - and even with all those scientists saying that detonating thy bomb could wipe out the human race, they (our government) decided to test the bomb anyway!

Yeah, scientists certainly don't know it all.

Christ the Wisdom and Power of God

18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate"

20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
Absolutely, the Bible, God's word, is never wrong. It saddens me that so many people (to include Christians who claim they have faith in the scriptures) believe that scientists, or anyone with a college degree knows the truth - that they have a cornerstone on knowledge. A degree is a piece of paper that says someone did a required amount of study and work - nothing more. It does not testify to ones common sense. I have worked with so many people who have PhD's in computer science, yet they couldn't troubleshoot the simplest of problems. Doctors who make incorrect diagnosis and, yes, supposed theologians who say one thing and then contradict themselves on the very next page of their book. Sad...sad.

It is always easy to see it in others and miss it in ourselves, but such is life.

That book looked pretty cool. I own a couple of anti evolution books. This birthday, I'm looking to buy some more material on the subject on evolution :) so is this any good? Book/s or a dvd/s, not so sure which to get ^_^ anyone seen animals that defy evolution? They looked alright to me ^_^ but so dang expensive! :|
