No, I have to agree with you, Jonathan. Scientists certainly don't know everything.JonathanSDA living word said:if a scientist wrote it then it's got to be true. Hypocrites i say . Ohh look at us we believe in creation . Buy my cheesey book. WOW im being a little agressive sorry peeps.
Do you know of any human who knows everything?PaleHorse said:No, I have to agree with you, Jonathan. Scientists certainly don't know everything.
Absolutely, the Bible, God's word, is never wrong. It saddens me that so many people (to include Christians who claim they have faith in the scriptures) believe that scientists, or anyone with a college degree knows the truth - that they have a cornerstone on knowledge. A degree is a piece of paper that says someone did a required amount of study and work - nothing more. It does not testify to ones common sense. I have worked with so many people who have PhD's in computer science, yet they couldn't troubleshoot the simplest of problems. Doctors who make incorrect diagnosis and, yes, supposed theologians who say one thing and then contradict themselves on the very next page of their book. Sad...sad.JonathanSDA living word said:Christ the Wisdom and Power of God
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate"
20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
It is always easy to see it in others and miss it in ourselves, but such is life.PaleHorse said:Absolutely, the Bible, God's word, is never wrong.
