In your opinion, what are her "politics" and her "ethics"?

Abuse of power, pork spender, two-faced (making pork then cutting it to claim being against such spending).

Seriously? Maybe it is just perception but she seems pretty viscious at times.

Palin's failings have nothing to do with her gender, but with her politics and ethics. She is an awful candidate and regardless of gender she doesn't belong in any political office, let alone the VP.

Yes,seriously,I watched all the the speeches for Democratic President race, and though I thought she made some snide remarks,I didn't think she was nearly as venomous,as the few clips I've seen, and articles I've read, of Palin's attacks.

These are only allegations, not actual facts.

Aside from that, you've basically just described the average politician. So I guess that means you don't think any of them are fit to serve in any office, correct?

If Obama had any experience, I might see the attack on Palin's experience as valid. I think the dems are unwise to harp on her inexperience, considering the fact that she's a governor and Obama's executive leadership is zilch.

This is a Potemkin argument. You freely ignore his time directing (i.e., the executive authority) of a community service group, his time as the President of the Harvard Law Review, his time as the director of a voter registration project, his time teaching, and his time in the Illinois State Senate (not to mention the US Senate).

Committees

Obama held assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment and Public Works and Veterans' Affairs through December 2006.[71] In January 2007, he left the Environment and Public Works committee and took additional assignments with Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.[72] He also became Chairman of the Senate's subcommittee on European Affairs.[73] As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama has made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.[74][75][76][77]

When something is found to be incorrect within a theory of course scientists don't "change their mind". They simply change the goal-posts.

It's clear you don't understand the process behind science.

For years, it was a well-known fact that Pluto was a planet. Now it's not. How does that work again?

In fact, if you bothered to search you will find that there is a nasty debate among astronomers regarding this issue. Some still classify Pluto as a planet.

At any rate, it would be nice to have both taught in schools, at least high schools, so that students could use their own brains.

Yes. Let's. Here's how it would go:

Teacher: "Today class we start our module on evolution. But first, I need to cover all forms of creationism and intelligence design. Fortunately that will be fast: it's all false. There. Now onto science.

In high school, there's only so much time so teaching focuses on what's the scientifically accepted paradigm. Moreover, neither creationism or ID is science (and both are also bad theology too).

Everyone's always telling me that in order for me to argue against evolution, I've gotta know what evolution is. I've got to learn about it. Same thing with creationism, but I also believe that the public schools would mess up creationism so badly that the kids wouldn't be getting the whole story. Yeah, I have that much confidence in the public school system.

I've a Ph.D in Experimental Psychology and I'm the product of a small town public school system. I've got lots of confidence in them when they're run by sane people.

Again, I see nothing wrong with advocating having different theories taught in school. I'm not here to argue about those theories. The point is, what is so bad about Palin being open to having both taught? How does this make her unfit for office?

So with Palin having more experience than this, how are the dems claiming she lacks experience?

And no, I'm not ignoring his experience...it just pales in comparison to the experience of MOST presidential hopefuls...

How about the fact that the only theory is evolution and it's the one used by biologists? How about the fact that the theory of evolution is used in medical research? How about the fact that evolution is used in agriculture?

5 issues that have been proven to be, well, non-issues.

I suspect liberals are just ticked that it's possible that the first woman to achive such a high position will be a conservative Christian with morals, standards, and actual character.

Oh course ETHICS are non-issues to Republicans! The party of Watergate,Iran-Contra,and non-existant WMD!

What has EVER been a bigger threat to OUR National Security, than Republican Administrations?

And Before Bill Clinton and Monica are mentioned, let's not forget McCain's many adulterous trysts!

How about the fact that the only theory is evolution and it's the one used by biologists? How about the fact that the theory of evolution is used in medical research? How about the fact that evolution is used in agriculture?

doesn't answer the question.

The evolutionists have long told us Christians to basically "suck it up" in regards to evolution being taught in public schools. So why can't those of you who have such a high regard for evolution even entertain another notion? Are you afraid that creationism might actually stand up to scrutiny in the public school arena? If evolution is so spot on, then it should be able to stand up to criticism and should be able to stand up against other things being taught.

Or does this logic only hold true for Christianity?

I still fail to see how advocating more than just evolution being taught as making Palin unfit for office. I realize why it might make the evolutionists uncomfortable, though.

You've really got that liberal rhetoric down to a science, dontcha? This is the same tired spiel that has been presented at the last two elections. Didn't help the dems then and it's not going to help now.
