Well....didn't mean for my question to be a thread killer. I'll answer it.
5 Bible doctrines I try to adhere to:

1. "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.." Matt.7:12 (I try to treat others the way I would want to be treated. This is also known as "the Golden Rule")

2. "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain" Exod.20:7 (people take this one pretty cavalierly...but it burns my ears when I even hear others do it. )

3. "Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people." Exod 22:28 (I don't speak ill of those in political authority, even thou many Christians do)

4. "Thou shalt not commit adultery." Exod 20:14 (my first husband did this, and it was a deal breaker)

5. "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour." Exod 20:16 (lying about others is just not cool.)

The only people that think I need improvement are people that make assumptions based on what little they've read me say on the inter-net. In real life...I'm blessed to be surrounded by non-critical, supportive friends and family. Besides as I already said to you Brother Christian, I think letting your self esteem hinge on other peoples opinion is foolish and immature.

1.When my husband had a rare form of cancer that the doctors said is almost always fatal. He's not only still alive, after the surgery he didn't even need radiation or chemotherapy and is still, bless God cancer free today.
2.When people have needed money for some retreat or offering and they prayed for it and received it in the exact amount they needed...and the person told them...that they didn't know why they felt compelled to send them the gift...but it was so strong they just had to do it.
3.When a teenage girl I know got hit by a big rig truck and was predicted that she would never come out of her coma, and if she did, she would never be able to talk or walk again...she attends the college at my church now.
4. When I prayed for 10 years for my sister to be saved and seeing her do it, and knowing how hard it was for her.
5. You know...I hate to say this...but I have so many instances of miricles that I've actually witnessed first hand...I find it hard to believe that there are people in the world that still want to call things that people pray for "coinsidence"
