Are you shocked that I identify with a satiricle song about wife beating? There are men that hit women, and men that can't be provoked to that sort of base behavior no matter what. My father, step-father and first husband were the former. My second husband of 13 years has never, and I am confident will never hit me. He's an honorable, and gentle man. It was the primary prerequisite in my ever considering marriage again. The song is pure satire... in my family...we can identify with it. Sorry if you find that shocking. But it really shouldn't be. There are two kinds of women too...the ones that will take abuse...and the ones that won't. I've never been the former, I've always been the latter. But then...bad things happen sometimes.
