After they had served time in jail. The complaint is they were released from serving excessive amounts of time in jail. Whereas the 46th president pardoned criminals before they received any punishment.

Some of the J6 criminals served very little time in jail after pleading guilty of incredibly serious crimes, amounting to 20 years in prison.

The only perso, pardoned by Biden, and guilty of a crime which didn't serve time was Hunter Biden. The others were not criminals but Biden wanted to ensure that Trump couldn't persecute those that investigated Trump's actual crimes.

President Donald Trump reportedly is ready to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet as a gift from the ruling family of Qatar during his trip to the Middle East this coming week, and U.S. officials say it could be converted into a potential presidential aircraft.

The Qatari government acknowledged discussions between the two countries about “the possible transfer” of a plane to be used temporarily as Trump’s Air Force One, but denied that the jet “is being gifted” or that a final had been decision made.

ABC News reported that Trump will use the aircraft at his presidential plane until shortly before he leaves office in January 2029, when ownership will be transferred to the foundation overseeing his yet-to-be-built presidential library.

It will be interesting to see as new of this unfolds.

It is also worth pointing out that AG Bondi, who ruled the plane as a gift is legal if "given" to the DoD before being given to the Trump Library Commission, worked as a paid agent, making $115,000/month, for Qatar -- so there are questions if she is not "bought and paid for," as well.

I think there are lots of concerns with Pam Bondi, I think she is worse than Bill Barr, in terms of being corrupt and partisan.

I thought the rules are that congress needs to approve of the gift, not the AG.

Much has been said (some of it by Republicans) about the massive retrofitting it would take to equip this "gift" into being Air Force One. In addition, an exact duplicate must be purchased since a decoy plane always flies at the same time.

So here's my solution: IF you take the plane (and I'm still unsure of the wisdom) let it be used for the Secretary of State, who needs to fly on a federal plane all over, or for other official federal business. That would require a lot less retrofitting and would actually and factually be used for "national defense."

And on the blessed day when Trump's term was over, he could leave the plane with the United States government.

Do you all realize how hypocritical it is to claim to be donating his $400K salary back---while leaving the White House with a $400 million plane.
The level of evil he does (have we mentioned the billions in bitcoins) is too enormous to be quantified.
