We can see geologic activity in the present and see the evidence for the same geologic activity in the past. Other than claiming "the past was different", can you tell us how exactly it was different? Or would you rather just say it was different without any actual evidence to back up your claim?

You assume that present state chemicals and light, and gravity, and atomic arrangments, and etc were all the same. Yet, if the universe fabric changed, atoms and laws change too. So does molecules, and cells, and the interactions and relationships of living things, etc. Looking at how it now is in this temporal state does not mean it was that way! Simple.
