Is "Post"-er boy worse than being "worthless"?The things were the questions, and if you can't retain that far back (2 posts) no wonder you believe what you do about futurism! "Post"-er boy!
I don't need help from my pastor on my worth. I have you for that. You are the one that sorted out my worth.Rat, this is not the place to sort out your sense of worth. Get help from a pastor on that, in person. If you have something to say about the 5 study questions presented to you, great, but as it stands right now, you can't or won't go back 3 posts and look at them.
Hope you have a great day, feeling worthwhile because "He loved us and gave himself up for us" (Gal 2).
Stop waiting and read the word for yourself. When it comes to the "proper view" riverat, I don't think anyone has the "proper view"!
We are imperfect. Even with the Holy Spirit teaching us we can't get it completely right because we are but flesh. That's why each person will have his praise of God for how faithful they were to reading and rightly dividing His word.
Of course you said so!And there we have it. You are not worthless as a person, and I never said so. it is the non-answers combined with their snide remarks in place of real thinking that are worthless. Everyone is in the image of God, and every believer is loved by the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. But particular things we do might be very ridiculous.
Belief is a difficult thing to overcome. Neither Jesus, nor the apostles ever spoke of a third temple...and even in Ezekiel 40-48 it's clear this temple was never built and Ezekiel 43:10-12 gives insight as to why! It's also very strange that Ezekiel 48 runs parallel to Revelation 21:10-22.Please let us get back to the subject of this op, the 3rd temple. It has been a good thread up until recently. I believe that the 3rd temple is coming in the near future . The question is, will it come before the tribulation period , or at the start if it. Like I mentioned very early on in this thread, I really believe there will be a gap of time between the rapture and the start of the tribulation period. That period of time could be when the temple is built. This is only speculation and my opinion, but I think it could be plausible .
...Jesus pronounced Herod's Temple desolate in Matthew 23:37-39!
Now...even if a third temple is built, what significance is that since clearly Jesus was the last sacrifice?
Frankly a third temple will be Ichabod...God's mane would not be there because even today Israel fails to believe their messiah came.
Jesus lives forever to make intercession for us, He is our High Priest at God's right hand, ruling and reigning.
You might believe a third temple is coming...I don't...and we'll see...or not.
The temple must be built. The Jews are required by God to build the temple, again. Please let us get back to the subject of this op, the 3rd temple. It has been a good thread up until recently. Ah, it may very well be the catalyst for the abomination.

When they come into the land, they must build, and they shall get all their land, again, from the Nile to the Euphrates, and up to Mount Hermon- Edit:above Mount Hermon, into Turkey, I see on the map, and over to the Mediterranean, and down to -. Here is a map from Files From Toni: 1/1/09 - 2/1/09 When Psalm 83 is fulfilled, they will then get their land borders back, exactly the borders God promised Abraham, then Isaac, then Jacob... Then they will build their temple. I do not see how they can build it til they get all their land back.

*Ezekiel writes under the Old Covenant, and therefore he see a temple.
*John writes under the New Covenant, so there is no temple.
Those to things *might* suggest something *if* one is reading them side by side.

And what purpose does the Third Temple serve?
Animal sacrifices? Wasn't Christ's sacrifice perfect and final?
An Aaronic priesthood to minister between man and God beyond the veil in the Holy of Holies? But that veil was rent in two and the Spirit of God does not dwell in the Temple but in us believers. Now Christ is our perfect mediator between man and God, whom we can approach.
For Christians, no purpose.
Not so. To the counterfeit Christian it serves no purpose in correction, but to the True Christian that does awaken it will serve as their witness against them, and for the purpose of correction. It will serve many purposes, as God did not plan prophecy to be for no purpose.
Yes.
Yes.
