Duane, what Jim Larmore has reflected here on this forum is the very thing that keeps so many victims of sexual abuse silent. The bullying and revictimization of victims by law enforcement officers like Jim, and by much of the religious community are a consistent means of discouraging other victims from coming forward to make their case. Sexual victimization leaves a person in a fragile state of mind that is devastated by law enforcement officials and by "religious adherents" who attempt to make the crime out to be the victim's fault, or purport that victims are liars, as has been done here. Law enforcement officers who treat victims in this manner support those who break the law by silencing their victims.Excuse me, Jim, but I don't believe I OWE you full disclosure of facts. I NEVER said I was a victim of child molestation, I said I was sexually abused. If you such a great investigator, you should have known that as I have said it MANY times on the net.

There is one nagging thing in my mind about this repentance. I believe he has asked God to forgive him, but has he apologized and asked for forgiveness from any victims? This, in a way makes me doubt any true repentance.
Really? So you haven't read the alleged letter of apology on the site you like to do PR for? And you haven't read on these forums where, truth be told, Duane was allegedly apologized to face to face? And you will notice, if you read, Duane did not deny that? And those kinds of things are maybe what Jim L was referring to when he said relevant facts were left out of the story.
Will there be reparations and apologies to any victims?
