I believe the victims and I think the evidence I have read from them and from TS's confession to DC is overwhelming. That is the sum of all that I have ever said. Being a victim myself, I know that with my offender and most offenders there is a pattern and there is a pattern here. Excuse me, Jim, but I don't believe I OWE you full disclosure of facts. I NEVER said I was a victim of child molestation, I said I was sexually abused. If you such a great investigator, you should have known that as I have said it MANY times on the net.
I don't see any need to communicate further with you. Your implications that I have lied or withheld information to make my case is disgusting. Our conversations have ceased.

Duane, what Jim Larmore has reflected here on this forum is the very thing that keeps so many victims of sexual abuse silent. The bullying and revictimization of victims by law enforcement officers like Jim, and by much of the religious community are a consistent means of discouraging other victims from coming forward to make their case. Sexual victimization leaves a person in a fragile state of mind that is devastated by law enforcement officials and by "religious adherents" who attempt to make the crime out to be the victim's fault, or purport that victims are liars, as has been done here. Law enforcement officers who treat victims in this manner support those who break the law by silencing their victims.

I was here about 18 hours ago and posted on page two! Here I am on page 7. How time flies!
Somebody surely has had their buttons pushed really hard.
This is about 3ABN isn't it?
I couldn't help but think of OJ Simpson. He was accused in court and was proven innocently, but there was a civil suit filed and he was proven guilty! How can that be!
Some of these alleged victims may not be able to file charges against Tommy Shelton because of the statute of limitations.
However, what about the civil courts. You know, the one where you can really have to PAY!
I believe a secular jury will have no problem figuring out is the allegations are true. Sometimes the letters SDA get in the way. Historically the thing SDA's do is bury their head in sand and acting like there is no problem.
That is OK. Let those who can press charges do it, or maybe there could be a class action civil suit?
The Save 3ABN web page covers so much more than Tommy Shelton. In the beginning, Danny went bonkers over people "Outing" Tommy, but I believe he is now using his own brother to mask the real problems.
If we spend all this time talking about Tommy, just when will we address all the problems with Danny Lee Shelton.
I thought they might give up attacking Linda since it is not working, but I was wrong. Someone proved that earlier in a previous post.
Now Tommy has become the red herring! Hum, amazing.
Isn't the brain marvelous? You never know what the mind will do. Take for example when Danny was trashing Linda everywhere. What happened? Everyone ran to her defense except for Danny's crowd.
Now we have the Tommy DEFENDERS out in force! How is that working? Tommy looks ever so much MORE guilty.
What is this? Why does everything Danny's group tries, backfire?

I personally believe Tommy has repented for his wrong doing. However, I am not God and do not know for sure.
There is one nagging thing in my mind about this repentance. I believe he has asked God to forgive him, but has he apologized and asked for forgiveness from any victims? This, in a way makes me doubt any true repentance.
Will there be reparations and apologies to any victims?
Probably not, since that would be an admission of guilt, right? We just can't do that now can we.
Will Danny apologize for his unchristian behavior toward his ex-wife? How about to the donors?
Just some questions I have been asking myself for some time.
