So, last night's show -- I got really confused there at the end, LOL. Did Chad Lowe intend to blow up Assad instead of Palmer? Or was Palmer in the 10' range and he followed the plan? I don't know why that confused me so much, but I couldn't figure out if he had a change of heart and was doing his own thing or what.

I don't trust Logan. Was there a significance to the Psalm he quoted and had highlighted in his Bible?

I think that he just wanted Palmer in the 10' radius.

I don't think Palmer's dead though... although I DO wonder if this means that the VP gets to take control of the reigns during the interim of Palmer recovering from blast.

How funny was it when Chloe when barging into the men's restroom and interrupting Morris in the middle of his doo-doo. He didn't even get a chance to wipe. Boooo..

That was hilarious.

I think the VP will take over. The Canadian previews might be different, but ours showed some politician telling the VP he was charged now charged with the duties of running the country. But I agree, I don't think Palmer is dead.

Yeah Palmer's not dead. The VP will probably get control for a while which will last for a few episodes of drama. Assad, well, I hope he's not dead. I really like his character.

Logan was good but underused. I too can't wait to see Martha and Aaron collide with him - I'm betting that they are dating or engaged - not married yet - again leaving room for more drama in which Logan tries to win her back.

And the change is Chloe is not something you're imagining, it's true. The producers of the show did an interview before this season saying that they were "toning Chloe down to a more normal level". It really sucks. Bring back not normal Chloe! Also please let EMOrris ditch the alcohol for good this time - the side story is becoming annoying

I'm beginning to wonder if the producers were just tricking us into thinking that Josh (is that his name) is Jack's son.

It's very possible. Imagine the producers "Let's freak out the viewers by having the kids look super like Jack! Zonks!" Just to get everyone going nuts like we are now. Anyways, if he is Jack's kid (which I still say yes) they probably will hold that back till the end of the season.

Well! We're finally seeing some real action! What to talk about first? Hmm, did any nerds notice that the guy playing the head Russian consulate was the same actor who played Denothor in LotR? Yep And how about Jack sneaking back onto 'enemy territory'? Logan put it best "You spent two years in a Chinese prison for doing that before and now you want to do the same thing?!" And even got some cigar cutter action going. Blegh but exciting. Then there's Wrinkles - Tom Lennox - who expected him actually turning around and doing the right thing?! I was literally pumping my fists in the air and yelling YES! Pretty dumb of Jack to finish torturing the Russian consulate and then just attempt to waltz out the front door. What was he thinking?! "Maybe they won't know I'm in here...even after I yelled at them and told them what's going on..." *roll* Oh well. I don't know about you guys but I can't wait for next week, because we see in the previews:

I second everything you said! Especially the awesome part of the spoiler!

Yeah Jack walking out the door the way he did was dumb. I think (hope) they are letting him do dumb things like that this season to show he's lost his touch a little bit after his experiences in the Chinese prison. I don't like seeing Jack this way.

Yeah isn't that interesting? Mr. NYPD Blue replacement. I anticipate some drama/head-butting between him and Jack once Jack is out. They both seem like alpha male type characters.

As for the Jack trying to walk out the door thing, I figured he was going to the door so he could yell out to the Russians, try to make a bargian or something. He obviously knew they were outside!
