23 Minutes In Hell

A lot of you may know and have heard of Bill Wiese's testimony about experiencing hell for 23 minutes and if you haven't I suggest you check it out!

I listened to a recording of him talking about his experience just recently and it sent shivers down my spine. I have no doubt that his testimony would have the power to make a non christian pick up a bible and read it cover to cover...it really is a powerful message. I sent the recording to all my friends and they were equally freaked out by his in-depth description of what hell is like..some points he made:

1) You cannot die. Your body breaks and you feel the pain but you cannot die.

2) Demons in hell have a infinite hate for you and God.

3) You cannot breathe in hell. You gasp, trying to fill your lungs but you can't.

4) You hear the screams of billions of people as they are tortured.

5) There is no life in hell. Everything is dead.

6) There is a thick darkness always.

7) The smell is so toxic it has the power to kill but you cannot die. You have to endure it.

I am really crushed to know that when we are all judged some of us(mankind) will live in hell and will have to endure such torment forever. So we must make good use of our time on this earth and help those who are without god in their lives to discover their creator!

I haven't listened to anything by him but what you posted sounds really scary!!! And I do believe there is a hell, and Heaven! Thanks for posting... I don't think we are reminded enough of hell being a reality to some people we care a lot about.

I hate to think of hell as a reality because it's just inconceivable in my mind why a loving God would create such a cruel, unforgiving place.

There are far more parts in the Bible where it describes "Hell" as destruction by fire, not eternal torment. Even the parts that would hint at eternal torment are vague and have good explanations as to why they don't refer to a torture chamber. That a loving God would make his children suffer forever instead of a quick death drives more people away from Him than it brings in.

I suggest that anyone interested in learning the other point of view look up Annihilationism and see what the Bible really has to say about "Hell".

It's indeed terrific that some people still have visions and such and tell people about them, but I think that one should also be careful about prophets and test them (1 Thess 5:19-22). I don't know if this person really got his vision from God or if everything in it is true, but what I definately believe, is that he has a good point, when he says that there really is a hell and that it's not a good place - it's completely Godless. Personally I don't even care to know what hell is like exactly, that's not the point, but when it comes to stories like this, I also like to proof the details and compare everything to the Bible to see if the vision really is from God and to be careful to only take the good and biblical parts as a reminder and to forget the rest.

which hasn't happened yet...correct me if i'm wrong..

if what he says is true, then i believe God chose him to experience hell before most people, possibly for the testimony

The discription seems droll and cliche. Satre's depiction of hell in his play No Exit, is much more terrifying.

hmm, i dont doubt that he may have been shown some expression of hell, but hell itself? I dunno. Perhaps a dream/vision but how does he know its from God? Just sayin that more information would be required, and i know you said that its a video or movie clip, just what you posted seems to leave quite a bit up in the air. More good points are needed Glad i'm on the other path!

As i said before its better that you check it out to get the full story. He said that it was an out of body experience...he could see himself in the third person. His wife found him in the living room screaming in pain in the middle of the night. His description is much longer than i had given and it is very in-depth. I only suggest you listen to it and make up your own mind. Google search: "23 minutes in hell" there are lots of audio and video testimonies. For me personally his description wasn't cliche...it was disturbing.

I have also heard of hell as being a place where you are completely and totally alone with no presence of God. WOW. I mean God is everywhere around us... that must be a completely empty feeling!
