I think she meant bangs... bangs of her hair were straightened.

I see.. I've never heard that term used here before. Maybe I just don't hang out with many people that get their 'bangs' straightened?

I looked it up and it seems as though bangs is just the American/Canadian term for a fringe (the front part of the hair). Learning things all the time!

Like I said I think it's a really nice hair style.
