Mike (smacky) and I were just talking about this last night. We don't understand why people think that's it's a bad thing to not want to be in a relationship or get married.

I personally, wouldn't be so bold to assume that it's "gonna happen" when that person has clearly expressed a disinterest. To ME, something like that might be taken as disrespect, even if it was made playfully, because of the fact that their choice/opinion is being completely disregarded. *shrug*

But I do agree Vicky that Alex has amazing lips. I'm an eyes/lips girl.

I've never said or implied that it's "a bad thing" to not want to get married. Never, ever. I joke with Alex all the time about this, he knows I'm just pulling his leg, I'm not one of the people who attack or dissect his personal choices. And if he ever so much as hinted to me that my playfulness was offensive or hurtful, obviously I wouldn't do it anymore.

I know that you said your post was how YOU interpreted my post, but I need to make it clear that 1) I don't think choosing to stay single is bad or any other negative descriptive, and 2) I would never intentionally say something that I thought would hurt a friend.
