Sensible Dad

So you ride one now? I don't like them much! I took one basic lesson and that was enough. I think you feel very vulnerable on a bike. I've also seen a parked car pull out into the road, without looking, and a guy on a bike hit the car and go flying over the roof. My Dad was also in a bad motorcycle accident years ago and has plates in his arm.

I've never been on a motorcycle.

My dad, who is a retired medical doctor, has seen and heard of a lot of people come into the hospital with major injuries from motorcycle accidents. That is why he wouldn't allow any of us to get on one.

I see F.R.O.G is still in daycare. I really miss him when I am checking on my pet list.

He actually was put into daycare for 90 days, and just got out yesterday. I fed him this morning and put him in for another 80 days. I just have so much in my head right now, and I don't want to loose him... It is best he stay in daycare until I am well enought to take care of him... I miss him too!

Thanks, I miss all of you, adn have felt like wanting to post, but I just didn't fell up to it. We are relocating in June, and have known since January of this year. I have struggled not to be sick, but my mind gets the better of me sometimes... I am going to all my appointments, and taking all my meds; but I am still one step forward, and two steps back it feels like...

Thank you so very much! It is not a fun ride! It takes you up and down, all over the place, but hardly ever just level... I think I had about 5 good days last year though I can remember two of them! I am usually depressed , but a few days ago I went a little manic, adn I am trying to come down with out crashing... (Still trying not to crash) Today I found a place where I felt a little productive, adn so i stopped by and checked out a few places. Plus, I knew Just would need to be taken care of by today...

My sister had a few episodes when she became manic, but that was because she wasn't taking her meds. It was very scary because she went driving off in her car and I had to chase her and I finally found her at a store near here. I had to have the store security and the police come help me get her into my car so I could take her to her psychiatrist's office.

I wish I could understand what your mind is going through, but you know what? God does, polarbear. He loves you soooooo much and He cares about what you are going through!

Have you ever tried listening to some good, soothing music or maybe doing some activity that will get your mind on something else...maybe work on a craft?

i have scrapbooking (that i have not done since 2005) I hand make cards (which I have not done in a long time eather) I hand make my own jewlery, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, (its nice to have somethign pretty to hand that med alert tag on) I am very creative, however i can hardly draw a stick person, giggle I also keep my iPod and Nintendo DS in my purse with me, because sometiems I cannot handle public, so i listwen to slow christin music, or i play with my nintendogs.... We cannot have real pets, and dogs are goog thearapy you know... I also (and I know this sounds really childish) have my plushies taht I like to take out and look at or play with. (I also really really like vertual pets!) I like soft plushies, adn my old panda bear named panda... Anyway, I have really small ears, adn my earphones dont stay on too well, so I can't really turn up my iPod...

Thank you all for being patient with us as we waited for the bugs to be fixed on cf. We have decided to re-open the contest before the upgrade is finished because we don't know how long it will be before it is completed. So, if you would like to enter the contest, please let us know.​

Now that the snow is almost gone and the temperatures are getting warmer, It is time to put away our winter clothes and think about what to wear this spring. So, Iec and I have decided to have a spring fashion show. ​

There will be two themes: The first one will be for the dressy look (Sunday dress, going out to dinner, semi-formal or business attire) and the second one will be for the casual look. So, go look through your cf closet or go shopping at the cf store and pick out something that you think would be to wear this spring. Gregged has graciously allowed us to use his screenshot program and so please post when you are ready for your screenshot and tell us what theme you are signing up for. ​

Please note: You may only sign up for one of the categories, either the dressy or the casual...you may not sign up for both!!!!​

We will be taking screenshots from now until Sunday, April 20, at around 11:00 p.m. (EST), the judging will take place on Monday and Tuesday, and we will have the winners posted on Tuesday night around 11 p.m. (EST).​

We are also going to have a group shot at the end of the contest. So, please dress nice, and remember to smile and say "potowanamee"! ​

100,000 blessings will be given away in this contest and will be rewarded as follows:​

Each person will receive 100 blessings just for signing up.​

There will be 5 places for each category.​
