CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there is just something about that Name! How Sweet and Precious it is to fellowship with those redeemed by His priceless Blood. If there was no blessing at all but to taste His salvation, what other blessing could we desire! There have been bad moments for me in these forums, or so I thought, but in the end God has made them all for my good and I rejoice in them all. When all seems lost, what a sight to see that old Lighthouse and carry all griefs and pains there and lay them at His feet!

No I am sorry to see it end. I have several dictionaries full of words that have not been used yet. Maybe we should turn it into a different kind of Blessings thread. Like maybe one where we actually count our blessings. You know, like:
I am thankful for the Blessing of sight!

New Title? Hmmmm.....
.......lemme see......well uh.....er......ummmm.
......oh my.......goodness.....new title.....how about...un no.....OH, we could maybe call it....uh.... no, I guess not.... well maybe........oh dear........ug.....
*pain........why not..oh gotta be something better........uh could I buy a vowel?....... .....ya know what? I can't think of a name because the chorus of that old hymn we used to sing in Church keeps running through my mind, and stopping me from thinking. You know, that old Hymn "Count Your Blessings" The chorus goes like:
Count your blessings -
name them one by one;
Count your blessings -
see what God hath done;
Count your blessings -
name them one by one;
Count your many blessings -
see what God hath done.
I could do the verses too, but it's the chorus that keeps running through my mind. So sorry. I am distracted and can't think of a thing right now!

Well either way, I am IN FAVOR of it. I would put on my thinking cap and help but I lost mine somewhere, and I have been unable to locate a nother one. They do not even have them at Walmart!
